I KNOW THE PLANS

Star’s request to write my testimony for youwillwantto.com brought back to my remembrance I KNOW THE PLANS video/song.

JOHN 14:26 But the Comforter which is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. 

All my articles start with a video – my inspiration from the Holy Spirit. And this song is my inspiration for my testimony about youwillwantto.com. It contains 34 scriptures that declare God’s LOVE for us. I have listened to this song numerous times and it always touches my heart. The words and the scriptures make me smile as I look back on my journey of saying, YES, LORD to His plans for my life. When we say, YES, LORD, God will guide our steps. 

JEREMIAH 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, “declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

BACK TO WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

The journey started twenty-five years ago!  Yes, a long journey of learning and obeying that still small voice. WHY am I a writer for this blessed website? I go back to where this WRITING gift began to explain. To where I said, “YES, LORD” to HIS PLAN FOR MY LIFE.

Twenty-five years of saying Yes, Lord led me to Star Bice and her assignment to enlightenment the WORLD with the WORD.  TWO WORDS that changed my life > GO TO …

KAUI, HI 

Kauai, Hi was a major turning point in the Carey family life. God spoke the WORDS “GO to KAUAI” and after some resistance to that command, we finally obeyed and went. And that led to a cleansing of PERSONAL PROCESSIONS through a whole house AUCTION!  Not knowing anyone there, no jobs, nor a place to lay our heads, we took our fourteen-year-old son (oldest son stayed behind) and bought three ONE WAY TICKETS to the unknown.  BUT GOD HAD A PLAN – a fully furnished two-bedroom condo in Princeville, HI awaited our arrival. My husband did beach evangelism while assisting a local plumber and I worked as a Newsletter Coordinator for a Stock Broker and started a Women’s Bible Study. 

We attended a church on the island and a visiting EVANGELIST visited one Sunday evening. His PROPHESY for me > THESE HANDS WILL REACH THE WORLD WITH YOUR WORDS! I am a writer, so those WORDS touched my heart!!!! 

CHARIS BIBLE COLLEGE

From Kauai, HI, back to Virginia and CHARIS BIBLE COLLEGE.  Again, that still small voice said GO!  And Andrew Wommack was the nudge for me to say YES, LORD.  We had watched his television program and were blessed by the TRUTHS that he shared. As I hesitated at first with the GO TO KAUAI, HI – I also had reservations on the > GO TO CHARIS. BUT God always provides a way ISAIAH 43:16. ANDREW sent me a FREE CHAIRS BIBLE COLLEGE COURSE > A SURE FOUNDATION, which led me to become a STUDENT OF CHARIS.

Star and I became friends through our Charis lessons.  I believe that GOD led us to the same lessons because he knew we would be on this YOUWILLWANTTO journey together. When Star asked me if I would WRITE for her website, without hesitation, I responded > YES, LORD. The Holy Spirit brought back to my remembrance the prophecy of reaching the WORLD with my words. Without a doubt, God had a PLAN for Star and Nancy to reach the world. She was already ministering to the WORLD through her website. And for me, I was texting worship songs/scriptures Monday – Friday to my sons and friends. 

ASK THE HOLY SPIRIT

ASK GOD for guidance and answers (lesson learned from Charis). I ASK THE HOLY SPIRIT for the article to write to for youwillwantto.com. And He guides me to the video that brings me to tears!  From the words, the images, the scriptures, the lesson, the article takes wings and flies. I don’t know what the article will say until it is done. To my surprise, I set my fingers to the keyboard, and out come words; scriptures and an article is birthed.

Therefore, God can use anyone at any age to share the GOSPEL.  Once HE hears our “YES, LORD,” he will  …

In conclusion, OLD TESTAMENT: specific time, people, reason. NEW TESTAMENT: all people, all the time, everywhere.  God calls you to do “ministry” in the special way GOD planned it for YOU JEREMIAH 29:11 I NOW THE PLAN I HAVE FOR YOU, TO GIVE YOU A HOPE AND A FUTURE.  Our personal ministry is part of our personal growth and development in the Lord.

Not only are Star and I Charis Bible College students, but it should also be noted, Star and I are now Best Friends Forever (BFF) and Sisters-in-Christ! Because of our GOD CONNECTION, Star is now on my TEXT and WEEKLY CARD ministry! She is an inspiration to me and my family! God brought us to gather for a time such as this!
