His Rest is For You Too

I know from my own personal experience that there is a great temptation from an enemy whose days are numbered (Revelation 12:12)! He wants to deceive us into thinking that we have to work hard to save/tell the whole world in a limited amount of time. I wanted to write a post, “Where is August.” After writing, “The Will of God,” in July, 2021, I really struggled through the month of August trying so hard to keep up with everything and to get it all done fast and with excellence.
I kept hearing that still small voice, “Rest!” He was telling me to chill out and that this blog doesn’t have to be formal, “teachy and preachy” to be effective. I kept hearing, “We have eternity!” God’s number one purpose for you and your life is to fellowship with Him! Don’t believe me? Check out the first two (Genesis 1:1-2:25) and the last two (Revelation 21:1-22:21) chapters of the Bible!
