I just finished a lesson in Power Academy about hearing God’s voice. This is a powerful lesson and clears up so much confusion about the various ways to hear him! You can hear God’s voice!

Let Transformation Begin

Ashli and Carlie Terradez have been and continue to be instrumental in transforming my life through their testimonies and ministering God’s word. I “met” Carlie over a decade ago through some healing material Wesley had ordered. I was so young in the Lord, and I was still mixing law (Galatians 3:13) and religion with what I was getting from the Bible–grace and faith (Romans 1:5).

Fight

I still have to fight to not allow myself to get back into the works mentality out of the rest (Hebrews 4:1) mentality. We are at war! We are already victorious in Christ. It is up to us to choose to walk it out, to live in victory in every area of our lives, and to stay kingdom-minded (Matthew 6:33).

Life is not easy. Life can be so hard. But when we arm ourselves with the knowledge of God, we really can rise above the kingdom of darkness and live the abundant life (John 10:10).

Charis Bible College, Terradez Ministries, and Andrew Wommack Ministries along with others are all teaching the same Biblical foundation and principles through unique voices and experiences.

Power Academy Module 2 Lesson 1 — I Can Hear God’s Voice teaches that you can hear God’s voice. They begin by explaining the importance of believing that you can hear God’s voice and back it up with the Scripture.

The Bible

The most important way to hear God is through his written Word. They explain how that is more valuable than even hearing an audible voice which is also possible and important. They discuss five more ways that God can speak to us and always give lots of Scripture references.

One of my favorite ways that they explain in this lesson is Psalm 37:4: “Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.” That verse is the inspiration for the name of this website.

When we delight ourselves in the Lord, we have a great desire to do his works-his will! Works are a natural fruit of faith. We tend to get things backward. We focus on sin and trying to be overcomers when we only need to focus on God and his great love for humanity–including you and me and all the other whosevers.

Transforming Teachings

I was listening to Carlie’s CD teaching “Giant Killers” for the third or fourth time when I took my glasses off for the final time. My eyes had already been healed, but wearing glasses had become “comfortable.” I have recently passed my DOT physical eye exam and my eye exam at the Drivers License office without corrective lenses for the first time in years! Hallelujah!

We can become so comfortable in our sin and sickness and anything else the enemy comes at us with to steal, kill, and destroy us, our families, and our communities. The enemy brings those things against us to render us useless! I had allowed the devil to have dominion over me for too many years because of my ignorance, wrong teachings, and unbelief due to my circumstances.

You don’t have to live like that anymore.

God has more for you now in this life than just barely getting by. I pray that you will grab ahold of your Bible and these amazing resources and allow our Father to reveal himself to you and begin to transform your life as you renew your mind. Amen!
