What does being the light of the world look like for a Christian? Why is this important and how do we walk it out?
1 Thessalonians 5:23 tells us that we are a three-part being made up of a spirit, a soul, and a body. We must examine ourselves by looking into our spiritual mirror or the Bible to find out who we are in the spirit now that we are born again.

God has already judged every human being worthy of the blood of the lamb. To sit in judgment contrary to that is to sow to the lust of your flesh, the lust of your eyes, and the pride of your life.
There’s power and victory in knowing your identity in Christ as a believer. The enemy has no chance against an armed believer.
Believer As a believer, it’s no longer just you- It’s you and Jesus working in and through you. The Bible says that believers are joint-heirs with Christ. (Romans 8:17.) When you start looking at trials and challenges in the natural, trying to figure out how it happened and how will you get out of it, you have just appointed yourself in charge of that situation. This mindset essentially blocks God’s ability to intervene and help you as His Word promises.
Pride says, “Work hard to obtain, and even harder to maintain.” God says, “Humble yourself and let me lavish all of my goodness on you.” Let’s choose Jesus’ life more abundantly (John 10:10). And resist the devil and his lies.
