Too many Christians are saved and stuck in survival mode. Jesus came for us to have life in abundance (John 10:10). We must take responsibility and disciple ourselves which will lead to much more effective evangelism.

The discipleship process is just that, a process. It is not something that happens in a moment of conversion. It actually starts before and continues long after conversion. Effective evangelism will include discipleship.
