The Unlimited Promises of God
All Means All
The Bible plainly tells us that it is the goodness of God that leads people to repentance (Romans 2:4). The devil wants us to blame God for theft, murder, and destruction. Jesus plainly tells us in John 10:10 these come from the devil. God wants you to know that you already have access to and can experience the unlimited promises of God unto the glory of God!
For all the promises of God in [Jesus] are yea, and in Him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.
2 Corinthians 1:20
In Galatians 3, the Apostle Paul really drives the point that faith in Jesus is what results in our inheritance of the promises made to Abraham which are also included in the unlimited promises of God. In addition, Paul charges legalism as foolishness in the light of the finished work of Jesus.
Promises to Abraham in Genesis 12
The Abrahamic covenant was made by God before the law was ever written! Jesus completely wiped out righteousness by law! As a result, the law still has a purpose and is still good, but it is NOT for the righteous (1 Timothy 1:8-9).
- I will make of thee a great nation
- I will bless you, and make your name great
- You shall be a blessing
- I will bless them that bless you and curse him that curses you–Remember the devil is the one who wants to curse us, and Jesus destroyed the works of the devil and rendered him powerless over those who submit to God and resist the devil. The only power the devil has is through deceiving people to submit to him instead of believing God!
- In you shall all families of the earth be blessed.
Faith to receive the unlimited promises of God comes by “Hearing the Word.”
Christ has Redeemed us from the Curse of the Law
Not only can we go through the entire Bible and believe and receive ALL of the unlimited promises of God to His people, but Galatians 3:13 also says that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law. This means that we can go through Deuteronomy 28 knowing that because we are God’s righteousness in Christ, we can claim all of those unlimited promises of God AND we are guaranteed that none of the curses have any right to come on us.
For He has made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.
2 Corinthians 5:21
Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangs on a tree:
Galatians 3:13
Jesus took the curses!
The Promises in Deuteronomy 28
- The LORD your God will set you on high above all nations of the earth
- And all these blessings shall come on you, and overtake you
- Blessed shall you be in the city
- You shall be blessed in the field.
- Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, and the fruit of your ground, and the fruit of your cattle; the increase of your cows, and the flocks of your sheep.
- Blessed shall be your basket and your store.
- Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out.
This list in Deuteronomy 28 goes on, but you may be thinking, “I don’t own a field or cattle nor do I even want to.” Deuteronomy 28:8 sums it up pretty well by saying that God blesses everything that you put your hands to.
As Jesus Is
1 John 4:17 perfectly states that as Jesus is so are we in this world. Jesus has no lack! He’s not sick, He knows everything, has everything, is everything! This sums it all up for me. Jesus is God. God owns everything, and we are His kids in Christ Jesus! We are loved and cherished by Almighty God; what else is there? Nothing that matters to me! He calls us His sons and daughters, His friends; He calls us perfect and holy, His royal priesthood. We are His beloved!
Faith Comes by Hearing the Word of God
I had heard Romans 10:17 preached as an incentive to give and go out and preach, but now I know that my faith also comes from hearing God! Yes, I am a duh-ciple! I can absolutely have my duh moments.
Jesus has given us the measure of faith, but we have to know God and His Word to handle the “strong meat” that “belongs to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil (Hebrews 5:14).“
Responsibility
Paul instructs Timothy, “Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15).” This is profound to me because the more I study God’s Word, the more I see that He has made me approved and taken away all guilt, condemnation, and shame! Also as you will see again below that the “work of God” is believing on Jesus! The unlimited promises of God and obedience or submission to God are ALL “natural fruit” produced in our lives. Our responsibility is to just believe God is who He says He is and to believe what He says about us! We really cannot lose for winning!
Believing and Receiving
Jesus Himself explains the importance of not doubting but believing we receive whatsoever we ask in prayer and that absolutely includes the unlimited promises of God written throughout the entire Bible.
And Jesus answering said unto them, Have faith in God.
For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be removed, and be cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he says shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he says.
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever you desire when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them.
Mark 11:22-24
Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If you have faith, and doubt not, you shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if you shall say unto this mountain, Be removed, and be cast into the sea; it shall be done.
And all things, whatsoever you shall ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive.
Matthew 21:21-22
The Importance of Believing
The word “believe” occurs 143 times in the KJV Bible. As a result, we know that believing is very important. Jesus says that the very act of believing on Jesus is “the work of God!”
Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that you believe on Him whom He has sent.
John 6:29
Kingdom Living
Jesus has already delivered us and made His kingdom available to us here in this life right now right in the midst of this world’s system and nothing can even touch us!
Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son:
Colossians 1:13
When we believe on Jesus and receive Him as our Lord and Savior, we receive everything we could ever need or want. “Soteria,” translated “salvation,” means forgiveness of sins, healing of the body, peace in the mind, provision for lack, and protection from the enemy. This is the full definition of salvation for all who believe, and I believe the whole Gospel!
Below is a section of the most recent addition to Power Academy, Romans-Lesson 1-The World Needs Jesus. Pastor Lawson Perdue teaches the book of Romans, and it is powerful!

It is Finished!
Jesus has already paid it all. He has already provided it all just like in the beginning in the garden. Now it is up to us to receive it all or as much as we are willing to fight for. He really has prepared a table for us in the presence of our enemies! It is up to us to get in the Word and find out about the unlimited promises of God and to discern the true nature and character of our Father so that we can resist our enemy! The more you get to know God, the more youwillwantto!
