Dear Lord, thank you for loving us. You are our Daddy, Father, Abba. We love you so much, Father, and we thank you that we can come boldly before your throne of GRACE.   YOUR WAYS ARE HIGHER THAN MINE. It’s not what I prayed for. It’s not what I wanted; not something I understand. My circumstances seem so confusing I’m placing it all in Your hands.

 [Isa 55:8-9 KJV] 8 For my thoughts [are] not your thoughts, neither [are] your ways my ways, saith the LORD. 9 For [as] the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

YOUR WAYS ARE HIGHER THAN MINE

HIGHER: great, or greater than normal, in quantity, size, or intensity.

• Your ways are higher than mine
• I want mountains to move
• You want me to climb
• So I’m gonna trust Your work, will, and Your time

The most valuable lessons learned sometimes come in the most unexpected ways. When those mountains seem so HUGE, it means the lessons will be blessings upon blessings in our life.

• It’s not what I prayed for; not what I wanted

• I’m placing it all in Your hands

YOUR WAYS ARE GREATER THAN OURS

God uses imagery of mountains and valleys often in His Word to describe His power, the high moments of success in life, and obstacles that stand in our way.  

[Isa 52:7 NIV] 7 How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!”

• Your ways are higher than mine
• I want mountains to move
• You want me to climb
• So I’m gonna trust Your work, Your will, and Your time

OVERCOME UNBELIEF

Jesus understood issues with the word BELIEVE. In seeking the Lord’s help, a man came to Jesus once, fell to his knees weeping, and said, “I believe; help my unbelief”.

[Mar 9:23-24 NIV] 23 ” ‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.” 24 Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief

• One day I’m sure
• I will look back and marvel
• At how You knew best all along
• You see from Heaven
• And You know it’s the hard times
• That make my face steady and strong

JOURNEY THROUGH LIFE

Our journey through this life will not always be easy.  There will be lessons learned that change the course of our life that will put us BACK ON THE PATH of the plans HE has for us. 

• When I start to doubt, help me believe
• Somewhere, so far above me
• I want mountains to move
• You want me to climb
• So I’m gonna trust Your work, Your will, and Your time

Thank you, Lord for this reminder.  Lead us down your PATH, over the mountains of our lives, so we can claim the title, OVERCOMER. When we keep our EYES on you and listen to Your still small voice, You will guide our steps to safety and the blessing you have for our lives. 

PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER because JESUS prayed for us!
