Dear Lord, thank you for loving us. You are our Daddy, Abba, Father. We love you so much, Father, and we thank you that we can come boldly before Your throne of GRACE. YOU WERE THERE. I wonder how it must have felt when David stood to face Goliath on a hill. I imagine that he shook with all his might until You took his hand, and held on tight ‘Cause You were there, You were there.

[Mat 28:20 KJV] 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen.

Jesus to his disciples > they must’ve felt some trepidation when he ascended into heaven. Jesus, who had walked by their side for three years, had vanished.

YOU WERE THERE

[Isa 41:10 KJV] 10 Fear thou not; for I [am] with thee: be not dismayed; for I [am] thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

• In the midst of danger’s snare
• You were there, were there always
• You were there when the hardest fight
• Seemed so out of reach
• Oh, You were there, You were always there

FROM THE 1ST DAY

God has always been with us. It started in the GARDEN OF EDEN with Adam and Eve and continues to this day and to the day we see JESUS FACE-TO-FACE. What a glorious day that will be. As I think about that day, my heart FILLS with anticipation of that glorious day. But until that day arrives, HE will be with us moment by moment, during the storms and in midst of our celebrations.

During history’s darkest hour:

• You were the calm in Abraham
• And just in time, You brought a lamb
• When David stood to face Goliath on a hill
• Until You took his hand, and held on tight

• You are God and though we would
• Not have understood You

• Hanging blameless on a cross
• You would rather die than leave us in the dark
• Every moment, every planned coincidence
• Just all makes sense
• With Your last breath

YOU ARE WITH US ALWAYS

• The Victor and the King
• You were the power in David’s swing
• The calm in Abraham
• You are the God who understands
• The strength when we have none
• You are the living, Holy one
• And You will always be
• The Risen Lamb of God

THE OLD TESTAMENT

As I study to show myself approved (2 Tim 2:15) through my Charis Bible College courses, my spiritual eyes have been opened to the LOVE GOD had for us in the Garden of Eden. 

This is the day that the Lord has made and she will rejoice and be glad in it. PSALM 118:24

When we study the WORD, it comes alive! The words create a picture that turns into a scene alive with UNDERSTANDING from God. Scripture JUMPS off the page at us because it is GOD speaking to us! Hallelujah and Amen. When we study the WORD, it comes alive!

THANK YOU

Dear Lord, THANK YOU for speaking to us through Your Word.  The more we seek you, the more we want to spend time with You. And when we ask You for revelations, You respond. ONE BOOK called the BIBLE is a story of our past, present and future. We are not alone because You were THERE is the past, Here in the PRESENT and will be with us in the FUTURE. Speak to us in your still, small voice the lessons we need to learn today. Guide us to scripture that will reveal more of YOU to see through our physical eyes to through our spiritual eyes. 

PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER because JESUS prayed for us!
