WORTH IT
Dear Lord, thank you for loving us. You are our Daddy, Father, Abba. We love you so much, Father, and we thank you that we can come boldly before your throne of GRACE. WORTH IT. Lord, You left the splendor of heaven, a crown, a robe, and a throne. But what kind of love would lead You to me, the safety of that kind of home. I know that You willingly suffer. Why would You suffer for me? I know what I am, and I don’t understand how I could be worth Calvary.
[Jhn 19:30 KJV] 30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
WORTH IT
WORTH: good or important enough to justify (what is specified)
- When You knew I was lost
- And You knew that a cross
- Was the price You’d have to pay,
- When we cry “Crucify”
- Lord, You didn’t have to die,
- But You did it anyway
- Now I’ll never see
- What You saw in me
- ’cause You knew I would never be perfect.
- But I’m just so glad, that somehow You thought
- I was worth it.
CRUCIFY
CRUCIFY: put (someone) to death by nailing or binding them to a cross, especially as an ancient punishment.
Upon the cross of Calvary, Jesus commended His spirit to His Father with a simple statement, ‘It is finished‘. Having endured to the end, He was released from mortality.
While in this human body, we will never be perfect. BUT thank you, Lord, for the Cross. You became our PERFECT! And by Your sacrifice, we have the assurance that our spirit is PERFECT. When doubts and fear about our future evade our thoughts; all we did to do is remember Jesus paid the price because HE THOUGHT WE WERE WORTH IT.
- Lord, sometimes I feel like a vessel.
- Just useless old pieces of clay.
- But somehow You saw more
- Something worth dying for
- You gave more than You should have paid
Our LORD and SAVIOR knew we were more than just a useless old piece of clay. He knew we would become a PRICELESS GEM that the lost world would need to see!
WHAT YOU SAW IN ME
- Now I’ll never see
- What You saw in me
- ’cause You knew I would never be perfect.
- But I’m just so glad, that somehow You thought
- I was worth it.
When times get tough, we need to LOOK IN THE MIRROR and see the refection of JESUS looking back at us. He will never leave us nor forsake us! He lives in our hearts and His perfection lives through us for all to see.
Thank you, Lord for the CROSS. You thought we were WORTH the pain. The price You paid, You paid willingly with no regrets. You saw past the pain and saw our VICTORY. And one day, when our earthly life is over, we will SEE YOU FACE-TO-FACE in heaven where we will live forever with you in the mansion You created for us.
PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER because JESUS prayed for us!
In the POWER and AUTHORITY in Jesus name. Hallelujah and Amen!
YouWillWantTo are the hands and feet of Christ to reach one.
