WHY SHOULD I WORRY

WHY SHOULD I WORRY

Dear Lord, thank you for loving us. You are our Daddy, Father, Abba. We love you so much, Father, and we thank you that we can come boldly before your throne of GRACE.  WHY SHOULD I WORRY. Out on the water, the storm raging high, the waters around them, troubled their mind. With fear in their heart, they thought they might die, they failed to remember, the master was ni-gh.

[Luk 24:38-39 NIV] 38 He said to them, “Why are you troubled, and why do doubts rise in your minds? 39 Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have.”

WHY SHOULD I WORRY

WORRY:  give way to anxiety or unease; allow one’s mind to dwell on difficulty or troubles.

[Psa 107:29 NIV] 29 He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed.

[Jhn 14:27 NIV] 27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

WHY SHOULD I FRET

  • But then trouble came, death was so nigh, they searched for the master, hoping he’d get there on time. (FOUR DAYS LATE BUT STILL ON TIME)
  • So when I’m in trouble, my bodies in pain, All I have to do, is call on his na-me.

Powerful words… CALL ON HIS NAME.  The name of Jesus gives us the POWER and AUTHORITY to call those things that are not as thou they were!!!

  • Out on the waters storms raging high,
  • the waters around them were trouble that night,
  • fear filled their hearts they felt they would die,
  • they failed to remember that the Master was nigh,
  • He spoke the words and winds all stood still
  • even the waters obey His will,
  • He calmed their storms like He will mine,
  • if I just remember He lives deep inside.

FEAR: FALSE EVIDENCE APPEARING REAL

Fear is a word that troubles our hearts and takes our eyes off Jesus, the author and finisher of our FAITH. It is the opposite of Faith, and the Word tells us we should walk by FAITH and not by sight.

  • We read in the Bible when He walked with them,
  • brought light to the darkness when the way grew dim,
  • how great it would be to have His footsteps in mine,
  • and walk with the Master all of the time,
  • and when trials come and death seems so nigh,
  • I’ll call on the Master I know He’ll get there on time,
  • and when sickness comes and my body’s in pain
  • all I have to do is call on His name.

Dear Lord, thank You for your WORD that calms the storms of our lives. The devil is out to kill, steal and destroy our JOY, HEALTH, and FINANCIES.  But GLORY TO GOD, You are our REDEEMER and have overcome his “want-to-be” power over our lives. You defeated the “want-to-be” destroyer once and for all on the CROSS. The CROSS gave us the POWER and AUTHORITY in JESUS name to kick that destroyer out of our lives and LOCK the door as he runs in fear of the name of JESUS.

WHY SHOULD I WORRY

PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER because JESUS prayed for us!

In the POWER and AUTHORITY in Jesus name. Hallelujah and Amen!

YouWillWantTo are the hands and feet of Christ to reach one.
