Dear Lord, thank you for loving us. You are our Daddy, Abba, Father. We love you so much, Father, and we thank you that we can come boldly before your throne of GRACE.  THIS IS CHRISTMAS. What is Christmas without Christ? Remember how the story goes. God’s gift was wrapped in swaddling clothes beneath the star, one great and holy night. The shepherds heard the angels sing. The wise man brought an offering. Peace on Earth began in Bethlehem. 

[Luk 2:6-7 KJV] 6 And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. 7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

THIS IS CHRISTMAS

CHRISTMAS: the annual Christian festival celebrating Christ’s birth.

• Have we lost the reason that we celebrate each year?
• What is Christmas?
• If there never was a savior wrapped in a manger
• What is Christmas?
• If the angels never sang
• Glory to the new born king?
• What is Christmas without Christ?

To the Christian, Christmas is time to sing of the birth of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.  It is more than the tree, decorations, endless hours of shopping and the STRESS that comes along with disappointment when there is not enough money to buy all the gifts that OTHERS EXPECT from us. 

We remember the REASON FOR THE SEASON. GOD gave His only begotten SON > a gift more valuable that GOLD. The best GIFT we can give away is sharing the MESSAGE of the CROSS and the reason that GOD’s precious baby boy came to earth.

WHAT IS CHRISTMAS WITHOUT CHRIST?

• If there never was a savior wrapped in a manger
• If the angels never sang
• Glory to the new born king?

There are two CHRISTIAN HOLIDAYS that the Christian celebrates from a heart of love for JESUS >>> CHRISTMAS > his birth and EASTER > his resurrection from the dead > our Salvation Testimony. BUT, sad to say, this CHRISTIAN holiday has turned into the man in the red suit and the easter bunny.

AS THE HOLIDAY APPROACHES

As the day of this CHRISTIAN holiday approaches, lets share the true REASON FOR THE SEASON. When we decide on the gifts we give this year, let’s give ONE GIFT of a BIBLE. A gift that WILL CHANGE LIVES.  It is my challenge to everyone.

Dear Lord, thank you for loving us. We know that you LOVE us because YOU sent Your only begotten son to earth for us for our salvation. Bring to our remembrance the GIFTS You have given us > answered prayers! Your answer came through another person here on earth.  One who listened to Your still small voice with a word of knowledge, wisdom, and the solution to the prayer request. Use us to be the ANSWER person to someone’s prayer request this holiday season. 

PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER because JESUS prayed for us!
