Hypocrites Defined

Hypocrites Defined

I was a hypocrite. One foot was in grace and mercy and the goodness of God that leads to repentance. But I had the other foot and both hands bound in trying to please God with my own dead works and self-righteousness.

Then I learned that those who truly fear the Lord don’t accuse Him of evil.

ALL THAT I NEED

ALL THAT I NEED

Dear Lord, thank you for loving us. You are our Daddy, Abba, Father. We love you so much, Father, and we thank you that we can come boldly before Your throne of GRACE.  ALL THAT I NEED. When the streams in the desert give peace to my soul. Dear Father, You meet me THERE. When the torrents around me rage out of control, Dear Father, You meet me THERE. So, Lord, give me faith that one tiny seed. Please help me to see, You’re…

HE STILL CAME

HE STILL CAME

Dear Lord, thank you for loving us. You are our Daddy, Abba, Father. We love you so much, Father, and we thank you that we can come boldly before your throne of GRACE. HE STILL CAME. No palace, no jew’ls, no kingdom to rule, no crown of majesty. No throne and no robe, no silver, no gold, no courts of royalty. Yet the King of kings left heaven to become a lowly man. He left all heaven’s glory to fulfill His Father’s plan. …

IF I GAIN THE WORLD

IF I GAIN THE WORLD

Dear Lord, thank you for loving us. You are our Daddy, Abba, Father. We love you so much, Father, and we thank you that we can come boldly before your throne of GRACE.  IF I GAIN THE WORLD, but lost the Savior, would life be worth living a day? Could my yearning soul find rest and comfort in the things that soon must pass away? [Mar 8:35 NIV] 35 For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their…

The Greatest is Love

The Greatest is Love

God is love (1 John 4:8, 16). The Bible says, “But now faith, hope, [and] love remain, these three; but the greatest of these is love. – 1Co 13:13 NASB20” KJV translates “agape” as charity (1 Corinthians 13:13). Charity and love are both the act of giving and then expecting or demanding nothing in return. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. – Jhn 15:13 KJV For God so loved…
