SECRET PLACE

Dear Lord, thank You for loving us. You are our Daddy, Abba, Father. We love you so much, Father, and we thank You that we can come boldly before Your throne of GRACE. SECRET PLACE. And I remember the beginning when I found the secret place. Don’t know why it felt so familiar, but I knew it right away.

The SECRET PLACE is in the presence of the HOLY SPIRIT.

[Jhn 14:26 NIV] 26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

[Psa 91:1-2 KJV] 1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the LORD, [He is] my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

PSALM 91 > OUR SHEILD OF PROTECTION > SECURITY OF THE ONE WHO TRUSTS IN THE LORD.

SECRET: not known or seen or not meant to be known or seen by others.

FORTRESS: a military stronghold, especially a strongly fortified town fit for a large garrison.

TRUST: firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something.

SECRET PLACE

The entire promises of Psalm 91 are for those who dwell in God’s SECRET PLACE.

DWELL: live, stay, remain, reside, lodge, domicile and abide.

There were times it seemed so simple
And sometimes so unsure
But not a moment was every wasted
Knelt behind those closed doors
‘Cause the secret place is secret
That’s where it gets its name
It’s not hiding, but it’s hidden

Living in the secret place of the Most High is, therefore, the key to abiding in the shadow of the Almighty.

[Psa 31:20 KJV] 20 Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.

The SECRET PLACE of the MOST HIGH is in God’s presence. During the past month, I have taken a personal challenge to read Psalm 91 for 30 days. WOW! Today is day 15 of the 30 and, WOW! the revelations I have received are amazing. My eyes have been opened to new understandings of the POWER of Psalm 91 and why we should read it daily. And, through my study, I was LED to other scriptures about HIS PRESENCE in the SECRET PLACE.

[1Ch 16:27 KJV] 27 Glory and honour [are] in his presence; strength and gladness [are] in his place.

[Exo 33:14 KJV] 14 And he said, My presence shall go [with thee], and I will give thee rest.

[Psa 16:11 KJV] 11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence [is] fulness of joy; at thy right hand [there are] pleasures for evermore.

[Psa 31:20 KJV] 20 Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.

[Psa 9:3 KJV] 3 When mine enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at thy presence.

[Psa 140:13 KJV] 13 Surely the righteous shall give thanks unto thy name: the upright shall dwell in thy presence.

It’s an open invitation.

If you want it, you can get there
You just put your TRUST in JESUS
There’s no time for inhibitions.
Or to care what people say
I won’t waste another minute
Take me to the secret place

During my study of Psalm 91, I was led to a few quotes by Daniel C. Okpara from his Book, PSALM 91 His Secret Place, His Shadow and The Mystery of His Protection, that touched my heart:

The WORD is the FOOD of the HOLY SPIRIT
HOLY SPIRIT, be the gardener of my life
Read your Bible to GROW!
The Holy Spirit is the door to accessing everything we’ll ever need from God.
READ it. BELIEVE it. DECLARE it.

MY CHALLENGE TO YOU

My challenge to you this day is to READ PSALM 91 for 30 days! I’m amazed at how much The Holy Spirt is nourishing my spirit with His invitation to spend time with Him throughout my day!

Dear Lord, Your WORD is our instruction manual on how to live a blessed life. It SHOWS us where the pitfalls are so they will not be hidden from our sight. And it all depends on us following:

[2Ti 2:15 KJV] 15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

If we fall into the pits, YOU ARE NOT THE BLAME. When YOU returned to Your Heavenly Father, You sent Your HOLY SPIRIT to be with us 24×7 to ask for HELP. You never leave us nor forsake us. In YOUR PRESENCE is fullness of JOY.
