PSALM 33

Dear Lord, thank You for loving us. You are our Daddy, Abba, Father. We love you so much, Father, and we thank You that we can come boldly before Your throne of GRACE. PSALM 33 is PRAISE TO THE CREATOR AND PRESERVER. Let the people sing for joy to the Lord. It is fitting for all men to praise Him. Praise His name on the harp, or the six string guitar. Oh come to Him and bring a new song play skillfully and sing with joy.

PRAISE TO THE CREATOR AND PRESERVER

CREATOR: a person that brings something into existence; used as a name for God.PRESERVER: maintain (something) in its original or existing state

[Psa 33:1-3 KJV] 1 Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: [for] praise is comely for the upright. 2 Praise the LORD with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery [and] an instrument of ten strings. 3 Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise.

Each PSALM was written to us > personally > from the HEART OF GOD. And because He did, we should play skillfully and sing with joy. Although I don’t play a musical instrument, I can play worship songs of those that do, and sing along with them!

For the word of the Lord holds true
I can trust everything that He’ll do
He loves what is just and all that is good
His unfailing love fills the earth
With a word He painted the heavens
By His breath He breathed the stars
He made the land and seas and set their boundaries
It was all done upon His command
He spoke and the whole world began

[Psa 33:6-9 KJV] 6 By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. 7 He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses. 8 Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him. 9 For he spake, and it was [done]; he commanded, and it stood fast.

THE LORD’S PLAN

But when the Lord has plans they are firm till the end > I BELIEVE that the LORD’s plans for my life will be fulfilled when I follow HIS PLAN. And that means I listen to His STILL, SMALL voice and He directs my steps each day. Before I start each day, I ask a question of the Holy Spirit, “Holy Spirit, what are WE going to do today?” And then I LISTEN.

He frustrates the plans of the nations
And He counters all their schemes
But when the Lord has plans they are firm till the end
His intentions can never be shaken
Oh come let our praises awaken
The Lord looks down from the heavens
And He sees every human heart
From His throne He observes all who live on the earth
To defend those who hope in His name
Only the word of the Lord can save

[Psa 33:19-22 KJV] 19 To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine. 20 Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he [is] our help and our shield. 21 For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name. 22 Let thy mercy, O LORD, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.

And the word of the Lord holds true

[Pro 3:5-6 KJV] 5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Dear Lord, we thank YOU that we can PRAISE YOU every minute of our day. When we acknowledge the HOLY SPIRIT, we are confirming our BELIEF that we are abiding under the shadow of the Almighty. (PSALM 91:1) And Your Lord holds true; we can trust everything that You’ll do! The WORD is a lamp unto our feet, and a light unto our path (PSALM 119:105) As we sing PRAISE to your name today, we know YOU hear our voice!
