PSALM 116
Dear Lord, thank You for loving us. You are our Daddy, Abba, Father. We love you so much, Father, and we thank You that we can come boldly before Your throne of GRACE. PSALM 116 that I may walk before the Lord. I love the Lord for He heard me. He heard my cry for mercy.
[Psa 116:9 KJV] 9 I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.

THAT I MAY WALK BEFORE THE LORD
- I love the Lord for He heard me
- He heard my cry for mercy
- Because He turned His ear to me
- I will call on Him
HALLELUJAH and AMEN > I CAN CALL ON HIM. When we call on Him, we get the perfect answer to our troubles and sorrows. When we call on the WORLD, many times we get what the devil want us to hear > his is the father of lies. We want to call on the FATHER OF TRUTH and LOVE.
- The cords of death they entangle me.
- The anguish of the grave was upon me.
- I was overcome by trouble and sorrow.
- Then I called out Your name
- O Lord, rescue me
We all need to be rescued from our trouble and sorrow. And the LORD is our RESCUER!
RESCUE: save (someone) from a dangerous or distressing situation.
- The Lord is gracious and righteous.
- He is full of compassion.
- The Lord protects the simple-hearted
- When I was in need
- He saved me.
So often we forget that most precious gift of all > our SALVATION. Through Jesus’ death on the Cross, we were given the gift of eternal life >>> but only if we give our lives to Jesus. A gift to receive and be thankful for.
- So be at rest once more my soul
- O my soul
- For You have saved my soul from death
- You have saved my eyes from tears
- You have saved my feet from stumbling
- That I may walk before the Lord

Dear Lord, we give thanks for Psalm 116 for reminding us that You hear our voice in times of trouble and sorrow. We can choose to dwell on our troubles and sorrows or cry out to the LORD who hears our sorrows. He reminds us that He has given us the FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT. We can control our emotions of sorrow when we turn to the WORD OF GOD for His peace.
[Gal 5:22-23 NIV] 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
