MY SOUL WILL WAIT FOR YOU (PSALM 62)

MY SOUL WILL WAIT FOR YOU (PSALM 62)

Dear Lord, thank You for loving us. You are our Daddy, Abba, Father. We love you so much, Father; and we thank You that we can come boldly before Your throne of GRACEMY SOUL WILL WAIT FOR YOU (PSALM 62). When the enemy surrounds and my heart grows faint within. When the darkness overwhelms and my fears are pressing in. I will trust in You, oh, Lord. In the silence I will wait, and I will stand upon Your word.

[Psa 62:1-12 KJV] 1 [[To the chief Musician, to Jeduthun, A Psalm of David.]] Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him [cometh] my salvation. 2 He only [is] my rock and my salvation; [he is] my defence; I shall not be greatly moved. 3 How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall [shall ye be, and as] a tottering fence. 4 They only consult to cast [him] down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah. 5 My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation [is] from him. 6 He only [is] my rock and my salvation: [he is] my defence; I shall not be moved. 7 In God [is] my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, [and] my refuge, [is] in God. 8 Trust in him at all times; [ye] people, pour out your heart before him: God [is] a refuge for us. Selah. 9 Surely men of low degree [are] vanity, [and] men of high degree [are] a lie: to be laid in the balance, they [are] altogether [lighter] than vanity. 10 Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart [upon them]. 11 God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power [belongeth] unto God. 12 Also unto thee, O Lord, [belongeth] mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.

MY SOUL WILL WAIT FOR YOU (PSALM 62)

WAIT: stay where one is or delay action.

[Isa 40:31 KJV] 31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not faint.

  • When the enemy surrounds
  • And my heart grows faint within
  • When the darkness overwhelms
  • And my fears are pressing in
  • I will trust in You, oh, Lord
  • In the silence I will wait
  • I will stand upon Your word

WHILE I WAIT, I WILL PRAISE YOU

JESUS is our ROCK ON WHICH WE STAND.

It takes effort to wait when there is a tendency to faint or give up. But those who wait upon the Lord shall not faint because their strength is renewed while they wait. In other words, waiting upon the Lord is like resting in Him while He recharges our batteries.

  • You’re my stronghold and my shield
  • In the midst of every threat
  • Though the wicked never yield
  • They will vanish like a breath
  • Yes, I know the outcome’s sure
  • Satan’s evil plans will fail
  • In Your power I’m secure
  • You’re my solid rock

A SURE FOUNDATION

Because Jesus had a SURE FOUNDATION with His Father in heaven, he was in constant communication with Him. God directed His steps at the perfect time, place and to whom He would minister to fulfill prophecy. His FATHER was His ROCK, and He was strengthened to do what He was assigned to do and did it!

  • My steadfast hope
  • That won’t be shaken
  • My refuge
  • Sure foundation
  • Refuge
  • This is love, I can’t explain
  • This is mercy unreserved

IN HIS TIME

Jesus knew when He came to earth that his steps were ordered by GOD in HIS TIME.  Thus, Nothing just happened through His life on earth > He knew the meaning of “WAIT” on God’s perfect time to be our SACRIFICAL LAMB on the CROSS. And, He knew how to WAIT PATIENTLY.

  • Jesus came to earth
  • Through Your sacrifice so great
  • I have peace that’s undeserved
  • For the battle has been won
  • And I fear no shame or loss
  • Now the sting of death is gone
  • You’re my solid rock
  • Pouring out our hearts before You
  • We will trust in You
  • Perfect Savior, strong defender
  • We will trust in You

[Psa 37:7 KJV] 7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
