Dear Lord, thank you for loving us. You are our Daddy, Abba, Father. We love you so much, Father, and we thank you that we can come boldly before Your throne of GRACE.  MIDDLE OF MY STORM. I’ve been there in the lowest of times. And,  I’ve had questions in my mind. I’ve been scared but I know that I have a savior. He knows right where I am and hears my prayer in the midst of all the problems and burdens of this life.  I will call upon the one who can get me through the night.

[Jhn 14:1 KJV] 1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

[Phl 3:13-14 KJV] 13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but [this] one thing [I do], forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

MIDDLE OF THE STORM

STORM: a violent disturbance

• Lord hold my hand in the middle of my storm,
• When I’m sinking down, Lord help me to stand, 
• When the waves are crashing round, 
• May I keep my eyes on you,
• Cause Lord You’re the only one who can help me get through the middle of my storm

WOW! What an image a storm suggests: high winds, rain and lighting appearing to instill fear of the unknown to happen. Storms can be REAL or imagined in our mind and felt in our bodies. When the devil comes at us LIKE a roaring lion, like a STORM, we know we have the WORDS and the ARMOUR to STOP HIM IN HIS TRACKS >>> IN THE NAME OF JESUS, GET BEHIND ME SATAN. 

LORD YOU ARE GREATER

• Lord you are greater than my problems
• Greater than my fears 
• You are Greater than my weakness 
• Greater than my tears 
• You’ve never let me down 
• You are here with me right now

The more we study to show ourselves approved, the more confidence we have in the POWER of the WORD to stop the storms in our lives. As Jesus calmed the storm for his disciples, he also calms the storms in our lives. At the first sign of the storm, we need to CLAIM THE NAME and POWER of JESUS. In the MIDDLE OF THE STORM, we can trust the one to work things out of good for us.

Dear Lord, thank YOU for being our PEACE SPEAKER to the storms in our lives. You know the plans You have for us; to give us a hope and a future.  Through the trails, we are made more dependent on YOU as our ANCHOR in times of need. YOU have given us the POWER of Your WORD to speak to our storms and calm the raging seas.  Praise the Lord, once the storm is passed, the SUN and CALM returns, but what it leaves behind is a deeper dependence on the PEACE SPEAKER.  As we venture into this day, let’s CALL UPON THE PEACE SPEAKER to calm the storms of our lives today. 

PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER because JESUS prayed for us!
