MERCY
Dear Lord, thank you for loving us. You are our Daddy, Father, Aba. We love you so much, Father, and we thank you that we can come boldly before your throne of GRACE. MERCY. I’m living proof of what the mercy of God can do. Now I’m alive to the tell the story how I’ve overcome.
[1Pe 1:18-19 KJV] 18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, [as] silver and gold, from your vain conversation [received] by tradition from your fathers; 19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
[1Jo 1:7 KJV] 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
The blood of Jesus IS the power to release the grip of the great curse, the ramifications for that are immeasurable to those who are willing to accept what JESUS did on the cross.
MERCY
MERCY: compassion or forgiveness shown toward someone whom it is within one’s power to punish or harm. To treat with kindness and forgiveness
GOD is a GOD of MERCY toward us while we were still sinners. He sent His only begotten Son to the cross for us for forgiveness of our sins.
- I thought I deserved
- Oh, to be six feet beneath the earth
- For all the things I’ve done, the things I’ve said
- The choices made that I regret
- Oh, I would still be lost, oh
- But for the mercy of God
Therefore, when the devil tries to convince us we could never be forgiven; what we should receive what we deserve > WE LOUDLY PROCLAIM > GET BEHIND ME SATAN.
WAS THE CROSS MEANT FOR ME?
- Was the cross meant for me?
- That my Savior carried
- Now I’ve been made free
- By the mercy of God
- Was the grave meant for me?
- Where my sin lay buried
- Now I stand redeemed
- By the mercy of God
