LET THE PEACE OF GOD REIGN
Dear Lord, thank you for loving us. You are our Daddy, Father, Aba. We love you so much, Father, and we thank you that we can come boldly before your throne of GRACE. LET THE PEACE OF GOD REIGN. Father of life draw me closer. Lord, my heart is set on You. Let me run the race of time with Your life unfolding mine.
[Col 3:15-16 KJV] 15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
LET THE PEACE OF GOD REIGN
PEACE: freedom from disturbance; tranquility > to make calm and peaceful.
We choose to remain calm. It is directly related to what we focus on. When we look at the circumstances, the trials, and tribulations around us > we lose our focus on the ONE who gives us PEACE that surpasses all understanding.
- Breathe life and make me whole
- And let the peace of God
- Let it reign
When we LET GO and LET GOD direct our steps, He will lead us to His PEACE. His ways should be our ways. When we follow Christ, He leads us to solutions with His still, small voice. ONE WORD can change our direction > simple words of STOP or GO. YES or NO.
When we take all our cares to God in prayer, He will respond. When we are anxious, He will give us PEACE. He gives patience to endure through the rough times of life.
[Phl 4:6-7 KJV] 6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
WE HUNGER FOR MORE OF YOU
- Oh Lord, I hunger for more of You
- Rise up within me, let me know Your truth
- Oh Holy Spirit, saturate my soul
- And let the life of God, fill me now
- Let Your healing power
- Breathe life and make me whole
- And let the peace of God, let it reign (Lord, I hunger)
As we venture into this day, let’s KEEP OUR EYES and HEART focused the PEACE that Jesus gave us. He is the author and finisher of our faith. Let’s WALK BY FAITH and NOT BY SIGHT TODAY. Take advantage of this day to share our TESTIMONY with one person of how JESUS changed our life. We are called to the LIGHT of the world > let our LIGHT shine brightly for all to see. It may lead one lost person into the LIGHT > to their salvation and assurance of their eternal life in heaven!
