  1. That we are being justified (Just if I’d never sinned) by faith (Galatians 2:16).
  2. We have (present tense) peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ (Galatians 3:22).
  3. By whom (our Lord Jesus Christ) we HAVE access by faith into this grace wherein we stand (present tense Revelation 14:12).
  4. AND rejoice in hope (Hebrews 11:1) of the glory of God (2 Corinthians 4:6, 15)!
  5. We glory in tribulations (John 16:33, Ephesians 3:13, 2 Thessalonians 1:4).

The Faith Of Jesus

Our faith naturally produces good works. We tend to try to do good works to build our faith. But, the Bible says that we already have the faith of Jesus (Romans 3:22).

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: – Rom 5:1 KJV
By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. – Rom 5:2 KJV
And not only [so], but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; – Rom 5:3 KJV
And patience, experience; and experience, hope: – Rom 5:4 KJV
And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. – Rom 5:5 KJV

Just If I’d

Why is it important that we know that we have been justified by faith? And that faith is the faith of Jesus?

So that we can get on with it!

Now that we know that we are “just if I’d” by the faith of Jesus. We can believe that we are just as Jesus is even now in this world.

Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. – 1Jo 4:17 KJV

Now we can move forward with boldness and confidence to fight the trials and tribulations that the enemy sends to kill, steal, and destroy (John 10:10)!

Just If I’d for Purpose!

Revelation 12:10 tells us that we have an enemy “the accuser of the brethren.” The next verse tells us how to slaughter him (Romans 8:37)!

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. – Rev 12:11 KJV

Most Christians know Jeremiah 29:11-13. But we often leave off our part detailed in verses 12 and 13. And, God has already given us some pretty fantastic details about the expected end in the last two chapters of Revelation. We regain access to the tree of life (Revelation 2:7, 22:2, 22:14)!

More Than Conquerors

We overcome the enemy by:

  1. By the blood of the Lamb
  2. By the word of our testimony
  3. No Fear (1 Corinthians 15:54-58)!

Tribulations

Now we know how we can glory in tribulations without blaming God for them. He has revealed our enemy and how to overcome him. Revelation 1:19 tells us that the past, present, and future are revealed in this book.

What the enemy means for harm, God can and will use for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose!

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose. – Rom 8:28 KJV
For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate [to be] conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. – Rom 8:29 KJV
Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. – Rom 8:30 KJV
What shall we then say to these things? If God [be] for us, who [can be] against us? – Rom 8:31 KJV
He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? – Rom 8:32 KJV

Just If I’d and Glorified!

We can glory in tribulations knowing that tribulation worketh:

  • patience; – (Rom 5:3 KJV)
  • And patience, experience
  • experience, hope: – (Rom 5:4 KJV)
  • And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us (Rom 5:5 KJV)

Unfortunately, the majority of the church today is facing trials and tribulations as punishment from God. This is horrible. Instead of facing trials with patience, they go in with submission. If we don’t realize that trials and tribulations are coming from the enemy to steal, kill, and destroy us (John 10:10), then we aren’t going to fight.

Instead of gaining patience to endure the fight until we experience God’s power in our lives, we submit to the enemy. Then without the experience of victory in each little battle, we won’t gain hope. This is why the enemy wants to deceive us into thinking God is using evil to “teach” us.

God specifically tells us in 2 Timothy 3:16-17 that He teaches us with His Word!

Does God use the devil’s handiwork to grow us? YES! But God is not the author of it! And God protects us and always gives us a way of escape as we grow and mature. Amen!

The more you are conformed to the image of Christ Jesus, the more you will want to be!
