IT WASN’T EASY

Dear Lord, thank You for loving us. You are our Daddy, Abba, Father. We love you so much, Father, and we thank You that we can come boldly before Your throne of GRACE. IT WASN’T EASY. Don’t think for a moment I never felt the pain. You can’t imaginethe hurt and the shame. They put the nails through my hands. Pierced my side, please understand. It wasn’t easy, but it was worth it.

The Holy Spirit knows the song we need to hear when we need it. In fact, He led me to this song last night which reminded me of the movie, “THE CASE FOR CHRIST,” which I watched again on Sunday. A movie everyone needs to watch! A movie I have watched numerous times, and will continue to watch again. Specifically, the scene where the Doctor showed Lee the effects of the torture Jesus took on His body for us. TEARS flowed then, as they are now as I type. WOW! THANK YOU, JESUS, for the pain You endured on the CROSS for me.

And, Thank you, Cece Winans, for your obedience to that still-small voice to pen the words of his song and for the musicians who created the music.

Dear Lord, our hearts overflow with thanksgiving for the torture You endured for us. In fact, You knew You would suffer the pain, but You did it anyway because it was WORTH IT. And the results were salvation for us. Your PAIN was our Gain of SALVATION. Today is the day that You have made and we will be thankful for that HISTORIAL DAY on earth that provided us ETERNITY with You. For this reason, we ask You to guide our steps today to share this song so it will touch the heart of the lost and hurting!
