In YOU God Delights
In my dream last night, I was standing in front of the White House. Before the words, “In God We Trust” came into my mind, I heard, “In YOU God delights.” I meditated on those words while I slept and after I got up. I was so excited about my dream.
Tell Them
As I thought on, “In YOU God Delights,” He said, “Tell them!” That is what this website is all about. Tell the whole world that Jesus loves them and enjoys delighting in them. The most effective way to tell that to the whole world is to help Christians know it too.
Discipleship Evangelism-Disciple Yourself
I spent years thinking that God was in control and using bad things to teach us and to punish the world for wickedness.
God is:
- omnipresent
- omniscient
- omnipotent
God is not all-controlling.
That is contrary to His Word, the Scriptures.
James 4:7 actually tells us that we get to choose who we submit to and who we resist.
John 10:10 tells us who comes with sickness, disease, and disasters meant to destroy and who has come to fight with us and for us to receive life and that life more abundantly.
In YOU Living Abundantly God Delights
3 John 1:2 tells us that God Himself wishes above all things that we would choose to believe and receive His goodness, health, wealth, and wisdom!
Hosea 4:6 tells us that God’s people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Why? Because they reject knowledge. Israel is God’s chosen people, but they rejected Him and His goodness and blessings.
That Sounds Horrible!
That does not sound anywhere near as horrible as, “Depart from Me, I never knew you. (Matthew 7:21-23)”
Mark 16:17-18 tells us that it is God’s will that His disciples will do all of the things in Matthew 7:22.
The problem is not in doing the works that Jesus Himself has done.
The problem is, “I never knew you!” He expounds on this in John 10:27 saying that He knows those who hear His voice and follow Him.
Know Him
John 17:3 explains that eternal life begins with knowing God and His Son, Jesus! He explains more in Luke 18:30, Mark 10:30, and Matthew 19:27-29 that His blessings are just as much for the here and now as they are for life everlasting into eternity.
The key to all of this is hearing, knowing, and following Him! Not other people, but hearing, knowing, and following Him!
A New Covenant
Are you still trying to operate under the Old Covenant or the law? You have the power and authority over the enemy and darkness that Jesus came to give back to us, His children, believers.
New Testament believers have the book of Revelation 1:1, 3! We have Jesus’ teachings along with pre-cross/post-cross revelation (Revelation 12)! Revelation 1:19 tells us that He is revealing the following:
- The past, “Things which you have seen”
- The present, “The things which are”
- The future, “The things which shall be hereafter.”
God Delights in You!
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. [Jhn 16:33 KJV]
Jesus is speaking to you. Are you hearing His voice? Daily Bible Reading is a category on this website. I am not currently reading the same plan that I was when I wrote the introduction for this category. It is quite zealous and fine for certain seasons. You get to choose your daily reading program and time commitment. Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is FREEDOM (2 Corinthians 3:17)!
