I KNOW THE PLANS

I KNOW THE PLANS

I KNOW THE PLANS BY DAMARIS CARBAUGH

I KNOW THE PLANS (Audrey’s Song)  by Damaris Carbaugh touched my heart. The lyrics, scriptures, and images express  GOD’S LOVE FOR US … a plan to give us a hope and a future. We need to hear this message today.  And, to understand the WORD and the PROMISES GOD has given us through His SON Jesus Christ. Our hearts need to be sensitive to GOD’s WORD and not hardened to the WORLD.

As a result, as I watched, listened, and read the scriptures as she sang, I was filled with JOY.  Each scripture is confirmation from GOD that HE CREATED US for a time and season to PROSPER in all areas of our lives.

AT JUST THE RIGHT MOMENT

GOD IS GOOD and always knows what we need when we need it. And for January 2022, God brought back to my remembrance the history of his SONG to me. This song came into my life at just the right moment. The Holy Spirit spoke to me in December 2018 with three words “GO TO CHARIS!” I struggled with these three words for weeks.  At that time, I started a TEXT MINISTRY to my son and others.

In addition to a scripture, I would send a QUIZ question to test their BIBLE KNOWLEDGE. I selected a QUIZ question related to the scripture, all while listening to worship music.

Consequently, the SCRIPTURE for that day was Jeremiah 29:11. On that day I was really struggling with the “GO TO CHARIS.”  The Holy Spirit directed me to “I KNOW THE PLANS” video. It really touched my heart!  Through this song and Andrew Wommack’s FREE COURSE, A SURE FOUNDATIONGOD SHINED THE LIGHT OF HIS PLAN FOR MY LIFE!

While listening to I KNOW the PLANS over and over, I was guided to her website to learn about this powerful voice for God. As a result, I emailed her my appreciation for her dedication to the WORD. AND… SHE RESPONDED! Her kind words reinforced God’s PLAN for my life. The reason you are reading this article.

LYRICS THAT REVEAL REVELATIONS

Because “I KNOW THE PLANS” is dear to my heart; let’s dive into the lyrics for revelations the Holy Spirit wants to share with us today.

In essence, God’s WORD is full of wisdom and encouragement that guide Christians through life.  Memorizing Scripture can serve as a powerful weapon against temptation, despair, and worldliness.

THE KEY SCRIPTURE TO THIS SONG

Jer 29:11 NIV – [11] For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Since words have power to change lives, I have taken the meanings of words to heart. And these four words > plans, prosper, hope, and future are also inspirational. There are 32 scriptures in this song to encourage our walk with the Lord.

In fact, this Old Testament verse is a foreshadowing of the coming Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, this song combines Old Testament and New Testament scriptures to create the COMPLETE picture of I KNOW THE PLANS FOR YOU!

This verse is a reiteration of the promises of God, as well as the guarantee that He always keeps His covenants/promises. It refers to the plans the Lord had for the people of Israel from the beginning.

FATE, FREE WILL, or GOD’s PLAN?

Is your life your own? Or has it been decided for you? Powerful question to start the song.

In effect, I KNOW THE PLANS is a video of amazing images combined with thoughtful insights blended with GOD’s WORD. A beautiful tapestry of words created from the mouth of GOD. The result is a journey of enlightenment of GOD’s LOVE FOR US.

As a result of this video, which I have watched many times, The Holy Spirit continues to give me new revelations of THE WORD and how scripture confirms scripture.

Therefore, there is no setback you can face in life that God doesn’t already have a comeback for.

Psa 119:105 KJV – [105] NUN. Thy word [is] a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

  • My UTMOST for His Highest
  • You are God’s Masterpiece
  • A WORK of His OWN HANDS

LIFE IS NOT ABOUT Accomplishments or acquisitions. Your popularity or prestige. It’s ABOUT How Well You Love.

In conclusion, the POWER in Jer 29:11 confirms we have confidence in GOD’s PLAN for our life. When we take time to

2 Tim 2:15 STUDY TO SHOW THYSELF APPROVED, A WORKMAN THAT NEEDETH NOT TO BE ASHAMED

We can present our lives as a WITNESS for Jesus. STUDY means reading the word, meditating on the word, worshiping through the WORD, and praying in the SPIRIT.

IN OTHER WORDS

When we submit our HEART to GOD, His WORD will come alive in our lives.

So, what does Jer 29:11 mean? To Christians facing difficult situations today we can take comfort in Jer 29:11. We know that it is not a promise to immediately rescue us from hardship or suffering, but rather a promise that God has a plan for our lives regardless of our current situation.

Until we walk the streets of gold, we have this promise. God is with us, and we can find peace and rest in that. The Gospel message isn’t one of an easy life. Rather it’s a promise that we can hope because the God we serve has overcome death and is walking beside us.

Whenever we feel our HOPE is gone, we need to meditate on Jer 29:11.

In summary, I KNOW THE PLANS is a powerful lesson of GOD’s LOVE FOR US. It is more than a SONG. It is a BIBLE LESSON that, if taken the time to really listen to the lyrics and read the scriptures, will change your life.  IT HAS MINE!
