HOLD ON TO ME

Dear Lord, thank You for loving us. You are our Daddy, Abba, Father. We love you so much, Father, and we thank You that we can come boldly before Your throne of GRACE. HOLD ON TO ME. When the best of me is barely breathin’. When I’m not somebody I believe in.

[Psa 91:14-16 NKJV] 14 “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name. 15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I [will be] with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. 16 With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation.”

HOLD ON TO ME

HOLD: grasp, carry or support

When I miss the light the night has stolen
When I’m slammin’ all the doors You’ve opened
Hold on to me when it’s too dark to see You
When I am sure I have reached the end

Our Christian walk will have some ups and downs. That statement reminds me of learning something new >>> that learning curve is full of doubts and fears regarding our abilities to comprehend and implement new information. This also holds true when we become Christians. Our flesh resists the truths of the Bible because we have lived in lies most of our lives. The world tries to convince us it is the ONLY TRUTH. It is then that we CRY OUT TO OUR LORD to remind us of HIS LOVE and TRUTHS.

Hold on to me when I forget I need You
When I let go, hold me again
And when I don’t feel like I’m worth defending
When I’m tired of all my pretending
Hold on to me
When I start to break in desperation
Underneath the weight of expectation

BE OF GOOD COURAGE

[Deu 31:6 KJV] 6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he [it is] that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

Hold on to me when it’s too dark to see You (I’ll hold on)
When I am sure I have reached the end
Hold on to me when I forget I need You (I’ll hold on)
When I let go, hold me againI could rest here in Your arms forever
‘Cause I know nobody loves me better
Hold on to me

JESUS walked to the CROSS with us in mind. When the devil continued to deceive the masses, JESUS held TRUE to the FATHER’s PLAN of REDEMPTION. Even for those who initially rejected Him, He provided a plan of forgiveness and salvation.

WHEN I LET GO, HOLD ME AGAIN. Jesus arms are open wide to receive us so we can rest in His arms forever.

ETERNITY

Dear Lord, HOLD ON TO ME! You never let us go; it is always us to let go of You. Hallelujah and Amen Your arms are open wide to receive us. When the storms come our way, we will remember that You will never let us go. When we fall into temptation to be in doubt and fear, we will remember that Your arms are open wide to embrace us in our times of trouble. PSALM 91 is God’s SHEILD of PROTECTION > He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
