HEART OF A SERVANT

Dear Lord, thank You for loving us. You are our Daddy, Abba, Father. We love you so much, Father, and we thank You that we can come boldly before Your throne of GRACE. HEART OF A SERVANT. Standing in awe of your grace. Setting my feet in your ways. Entering into your presence to behold you face to face. God of all heaven and earth. Holding me in your embrace. Unfailing love that surrounds me. Oh… God I stand amazed.

[Mat 12:18 KJV] 18 Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles.

[1Pe 4:10 NIV] 10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.

[Mat 25:23 NIV] 23 “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’

HEART OF A SERVANT

SERVANT: devoted and helpful follower or supporter; one who serves others.

SERVANT occurs 523 times in 481 verses in the NIV.

SERVANT occurs 492 times in 452 verses in the KJV.

Jesus was clearing telling us how IMPORTANT the word “SERVE” is to Him.

[Mar 10:41-45 NIV] 41 When the ten heard about this, they became indignant with James and John. 42 Jesus called them together and said, “You know that those who are regarded as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. 43 Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, 44 and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all.

45 For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

STANDING IN AWE OF YOUR GRACE

When we give our heart to Jesus, our heart is changed from selfishness to servant. As we follow Him, we will walk in His steps, say the words He says, love those whom He loves. He came to save the LOST and by our actions and obedience to the word “GO” we REPRESENT Him in all we say and do to be the servant He wants us to be.

Standing in awe of your gracE

My Jesus, my Lord

Dear Lord, we THANK You that You have chosen us to be Your servants. And as we walk through the days of our lives, we will continue to study to show ourselves approved (2 Tim 2:15) to represent You through our serving.

[Jhn 13:15-17 KJV] 15 For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you. 16 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. 17 If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.

When we worship You, we are being a faithful servant to You. You love to see our lives GROW into a beautiful garden from a servants heart. Guide our steps today to serve Your child who needs a reminder of how much You love them.
