HE CALLS ME FRIEND

Dear Lord, thank You for loving us. You are our Daddy, Abba, Father. We love you so much, Father, and we thank You that we can come boldly before Your throne of GRACE. JESUS CALLS ME FRIEND. I have a friend, a faithful friend. And Jesus is His name. I have a friend, a Saviour friend. And Jesus is His name.

[Jhn 15:14-15 KJV] 14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. 15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

As I read that scripture, my eyes stopped on the verse, “if ye do whatsoever I command you.” WOW! We are His friends when we commit ourselves to follow Him no matter where He leads us; an example of our complete TRUST in Him.

JESUS CALLS ME FRIEND

FRIEND: a person whom one knows and with whom one has a bond of mutual affection.

He will not leave, He stands by me
My Shepherd He remains

[Deu 31:8 NIV] 8 The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”

[Psa 23:1-3 NIV] 1 A psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing. 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, 3 he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.

HALLELUJAH and AMEN to the glory of God. Jesus is our Friend and Shepherd. There is no one like Him. When we realize His value in our lives, our lives will be BLESSED! We will become a new creation in Him!

I have a friend, a mighty friend
And Jesus is His name
I shall not fear, He holds me nea
His strength will keep me safe

His name is True King Lord of creation
Ruler without end
I call Him Hope, Peace, Wonderful Saviour
And what joy that Jesus calls me friend!

He hears my cry, by day or night
And wipes my tears away

What a friend we have in Jesus! He is the example of what a TRUE FRIEND should be. One who has our backs in times of trouble. And one who rejoices with us in times of joy.

Dear Lord, we thank You for calling us Your FRIEND. We rejoice is that relationship. You call us FRIEND and we call YOU Hope, Peace, Wonderful Saviour. On earth, friendships are build on TRUST, and sad to say, TRUST is a fleeting value on earth. But YOU are the TRUST we can depend upon throughout our lives. And You gifted us with Your WORD as evidence in writing that we can TRUST in You.
