GRACE BY WHICH I STAND

Dear Lord, thank You for loving us. You are our Daddy, Abba, Father. We love you so much, Father, and we thank You that we can come boldly before Your throne of GRACE. GRACE BY WHICH I STAND. Lord, the feelin’s are not the same. I guess I’m older. I guess I’ve changed. And how I wish it had been explained that as you’re growing you must remember that nothing lasts except the grace of God by which I stand in Jesus.

[Eph 2:8-10 KJV] 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

GRACE BY WHICH I STAND

I know that I would surely fall away
Except for grace by which I’m saved
Lord, I remember that special way
I vowed to serve You

[Eph 6:7-8 KJV] 7 With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men: 8 Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether [he be] bond or free.

TO SERVE THE LORD should be our desire. When we focus on serving Him, we will serve like He did. Jesus had a heart to serve and that desire led Him to the CROSS. Hallelujah and Amen. As we medicate on this thought today; let’s take time to THANK HIM for HIS SERVICE to us!

When it was brand new
But like Peter, I can’t even watch and pray
One hour with You
And I bet I could deny You too

Well, nothin’ lasts
Except the grace of God

[Mat 26:40 NIV] 40 Then he returned to his disciples and found them sleeping. “Couldn’t you men keep watch with me for one hour?” he asked Peter.

I can only image the agony Peter felt after he realized he denied Jesus. But, there was a purpose for the agony. Peter became a dedicated disciple to proclaim the MESSAGE OF THE CROSS in his day, and to us today.

I’m sure that my whole life would waste away

Well, nothin’ lasts
I know that I would surely fall away
Except for grace by which I’m saved

ETERNITY

Dear Lord, thank You for the GRACE of which we can stand today. We are not of this world, we are the chosen to live this life through Your GRACE of salvation. We are no longer lost in a sea of hopelessness but will walk on water as You did. You told us that the works that You did, we shall we do also; and greater works than these shall we do, because You went to the Father.

[Jhn 14:12-14 KJV] 12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater [works] than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do [it].
