Gender Confusion
If the world is suffering from gender confusion it is because the church is even more confused. The Apostle Paul addresses wrong beliefs by stating what was said and then refuting it with the truth. Even Peter says that some of Paul’s teachings are hard to understand for the unlearned.
As also in all [his] epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as [they do] also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. – 2Pe 3:16 KJV
Jesus Did It Too
See the post, How Jesus Teaches. The Pharisees asked about marriage and Jesus ended by emphasizing the equality of men and women (Mark 10:11-12)! Thank You, Jesus!
How Jesus Teaches
Jesus came declaring that male and female were created as one and then physically separated in the beginning. They were both created in the image of God and both given dominion and authority!
So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. – Gen 1:27 KJV
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. – Gen 1:28 KJV
And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which [is] upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which [is] the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. – Gen 1:29 KJV
And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein [there is] life, [I have given] every green herb for meat: and it was so. – Gen 1:30 KJV
And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, [it was] very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. – Gen 1:31 KJV
Not until the fall did God explain that the consequences, not God’s punishment, would result in men using their physical strength to dominate women.
That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they [were] fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. – Gen 6:2 KJV
And GOD saw that the wickedness of man [was] great in the earth, and [that] every imagination of the thoughts of his heart [was] only evil continually. – Gen 6:5 KJV
Love gives and gives and gives!
In Genesis 6:2, these men “took them wives of all which they chose.” It doesn’t sound like the women had any choice in the matter. In verse 5 “the wickedness of man” refers to all of mankind, men and women alike.
Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire [shall be] to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. – Gen 3:16 KJV
Know Who Takes Away
Domination
Most women don’t have the physical strength to rule. Women especially will use guilt, shame, and condemnation to tear their husbands apart!
This is not how God intended it to be ever! Anymore than God causes death.
For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. – Rom 6:23 KJV
Children or Dogs?
Jesus did the same thing also with ignorance about how God sees different people groups. Did Jesus really call that woman a dog (Matthew 15:24-28)? No! That wasn’t the issue. But that is how some people saw other people.
She knew as well as Jesus did that anyone outside of the “house of Israel (Matthew 15:24)” was considered a dog. I had a Jewish Rabbi ask me if I knew the meaning of the word, “gentile.” I knew that he was angry toward my joy and freedom in Christ.
“Dog!” He said. I laughed at his pride and ignorance. I really could have helped myself, but I didn’t want to.
He actually wondered why I didn’t want anything to do with him or his teachings. I make a point of not hanging around people who think they are better than other people for any reason! I would be disobeying Jesus if I did corrupt my good conversation with the company of fools.
Abide Among The Wise
Hear her humility in her actions and words:
Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me. – Mat 15:25 KJV
But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast [it] to dogs. – Mat 15:26 KJV
And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table. – Mat 15:27 KJV
Then, Jesus gives her one of the greatest compliments!
Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great [is] thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour. – Mat 15:28 KJV
Gender Confusion?
And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made [them] at the beginning made them male and female, – Mat 19:4 KJV
But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. – Mar 10:6 KJV
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. – Gal 3:28 KJV
No wonder the world is so jacked up and confused. The church as a whole doesn’t realize that men are Christ’s bride! When the Bible talks about foolish women, it can also be referring to men who aren’t walking with the Lord. I had a pastor say that he reads a chapter out of Proverbs every day. “But I don’t read Proverbs 31:10-31 because I am not a woman.” What pride and ignorance!
Scripture Causing Gender Confusion
Some of the verses causing gender confusion in the church are as follows:
And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church. – 1Co 14:35 KJV
Guys, read the very next verse!
What? came the word of God out from you? or came it unto you only? – 1Co 14:36 KJV
Then, there is a verse that I think is for the girls!
But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant. – 1Co 14:38 KJV
If they are ignorant, let them be ignorant! Hallelujah! Hahaha. That is for everyone! Race, gender, socioeconomic status, whatever any fool wants to compare to feel superior (2 Corinthians 10:12).
Gender Confusion in the World
Why do men of the world want to become women? Because the misunderstanding of the Scripture in religion/the tares in the church puts way too much burden and pressure on them to dominate other people!
Guys AND girls, if you will just practice the only “people-control” God has given you: SELF-control. Be like Jesus (Romans 8:29)! Your family will eventually come to trust Jesus and you. They will want what you have.
Why do women of the world want to become men? They don’t want to be dominated!!!

Freedom from Gender Confusion
Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom! Is that just for men? NO! Is that freedom from responsibility? NO!
I have had women/wives tell me that their husbands treat other people, even strangers, and strange women with more respect and dignity. A man treating a woman with respect and dignity is attractive to a woman! Do you want to be more attractive to your wife or to a strange woman?
“He acts as if I don’t have anything important to say other than answering his direct questions. Then, he tries to stick his tongue down my throat!” What? That is offensive and rude. Don’t allow the thief to steal your wife’s dignity through your ignorance!
Honor and Respect
Wives, don’t allow the thief to steal your husband’s dignity by knit-picking all of his “faults and failures” as if he is not overlooking a truckload of yours. Don’t be foolish and tear your home apart with your own hands. I know because I have done it too.
Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands. – Pro 14:1 KJV
Study 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
If you are treating people outside of your own home with more honor and charity than those closest to you, you are being deceived and used by the devil!
Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. – 2Co 2:11 KJV
Repent!
Don’t get condemned. Just repent. Apologize to your spouse if you have done these things. You may also want to apologize to your children if you have been putting burdens on them because they are different. Teach them to hear God’s voice for themselves and then allow them the freedom in Christ Jesus to practice obeying.
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: – Jhn 10:27 KJV
1 Corinthians 14:34-35 are just one example of the many verses in the Bible that can cause gender confusion. But, just continue reading 1 Corinthians 14:36-40 for clarification. Paul is pretty much calling the people he was quoting in verses 34-35 “ignorant.” Hallelujah!
