FORGIVE ONE ANOTHER

FORGIVE ONE ANOTHER

FORGIVE ONE ANOTHER are three powerful words straight from the heart of God. It is a conscious, deliberate decision on our part toward others. But sometimes it strikes HATRED and ANGER in us. Thoughts of, ‘you don’t know what they did to me.’ This song touched my heart > especially because it is sung by children! Out of the mouths of BABE’S!

When we FORGIVE others, it should remind us that Jesus was faithful to forgive our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. Without Jesus’ blood on the cross, our sins would not be forgiven.

[Eph 4:32 NIV] 32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

[Mat 6:14-15 NIV] 14 For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

FORGIVE ONE ANOTHER

TRUE FORGIVENESS. It is necessary for us to FORGIVE others if we intend to live a life of peace that transcends all understanding. Holding on to HATRED and ANGER only hurts us in the end; our peace, health and happiness are affected.

Deciding to FORGIVE is a BIG STEP to FORGIVENESS. It starts in our heart when we GIVE GOD OUR HURTS.

Six Powerful Steps Toward Truly Forgiving Someone

  • Step 1  GIVE GOD YOUR HURTS
  • Step 2  ASK GOD TO HELP YOU
  • Step 3  READ SCRIPTURES ABOUT OTHERS WHO HAVE FORGIVEN
  • Step 4  WRITE DOWN WHAT YOU’VE BEEN FORGIVEN FOR
  • Step 5 PRAY FOR WHOEVER HURT YOU
  • Step 6  DECIDE TO FORGIVE

LET GO, LET GOD

LET GO LET GOD should be our first step in FORGIVING others. With God all things are possible to those who BELIEVE. Even when we don’t feel like it because the HURTS are too deep, we need to give our HURTS to GOD and pray for them to find a relationship with the ONE WHO FORGIVES all sins.

 A HEART THAT FORGIVES

AND HE DID IT AGAIN

GOD IS GOOD, and in His time, He reveals what I need to share with you. Each worship song and related movie tells a story of a THEME > in this post, FORGIVENESS. Even for those who profess the title of CHRISTIAN for many decades, it can still be a hard thing to do. The flesh tries desperately to win the battle; to keep us HURTING in our heart over HURTS inflicted on us by others

But praise GOD, we can return to the WORD OF GOD and remind ourselves of the greatest FORGIVNESS of all > OUR SINS! The hurts we feel toward others doesn’t compare to the VICTORY we received when OUR SINS were forgiven.

[Psa 103:12 NIV] 12 as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

HEALED BY GRACE FULL MOVIE

HEALED BY GRACE is a heartwarming story of FORGIVNESS and RESTORATION between two dancers competing against one another for the DANCE CHAMPIONSHIP.  One a PROFESSING CHRISTIAN and the OTHER > NOT!

Riley Adams is the Christian.  Aleah Adams is NOT.  Same last name not related. From childhood through teen years, Aleah disliked Riley because she always felt inferior to her. A hatred that festered through their years together in the same school and classes.

Riley Adams is PROUD to proclaim herself a CHRISTIAN and is not ashamed to showcase stories from the BIBLE in her school assignments.  She dreamed of being a PROFESSIONAL DANCER all her life. And when the opportunity to complete in a REGIONAL DANCE COMPETITION appears, she was excited to be one of the dancers chosen to complete >>> as was Aleah.

THE COACH

The COACH of this Dance Team was also a Christian and continued to comfort Riley when Aleah said or did things that hurt her, and other dancers in the group. Aleah was NOT A HAPPY person and it showed in her words and actions. It was always ‘all about Aleah.’

The Coach continued to remind Riley of WHO SHE WAS IS CHRIST.

During rehearsals for the REGIONAL COMPLETION, Aleah tried to cause harm to Riley by spilling water on the floor to cause her to fall during her performance > and she did, but it did not stop her from going to the COMPETITION. Because the JUDGE of the REGIONAL COMPLETEION was late, time restrictions were placed on some of the contestants > RILEY. They cut short her performance and she was very upset, but the Coach comforted her. When the final three dancers were announced to go to the FINAL, Aleah came in 3rd and Riley came in 1st!

AND THEN THE ACCIDENT

LIFE CAN CHANGE IN A SECOND. On Riley’s way home she was involved in a horrible accident which caused her to be partially paralyzed and forced to relearn speech and motor skills.  Her dream of being a PROFESSIONAL DANCER ended.

WITH GOD’S HELP > FROM TRAGEDY TO TRIUMPH

Although the Doctor knew Riley could not dance again, he knew she had the strength to succeed in other endeavors. He suggested she try Equestrian Physical Therapy where she discovers a bond with a mare name GRACE.

Thought her days working with GRACE, her strength and confidence returned; she was able to find a new outlet for her future.  As the story progresses, Riley realizes that Aleah also works at the Equestrian Physical Therapy, and once again, she was exposed to the hatred toward her.

GOD WILL MAKE A WAY

As He always does, GOD will make a way where there seems to be no way.  After all Riley’s hard work, she was notified that the owner of the Equestrian Physical Therapy could not let her compete in the upcoming Equestrian completion because, legally, she could not ride GRACE because GRACE was owned by EQUINE THERAPY.

AND THEN… A MIRACLE HAPPENS

EQUINE THERAPY was owned by Aleah’s FATHER. As she saw how much Riley loved the horse and was a gifted driver, her heart turned warm toward her because she could no longer dance. She suggested to her father that she GIFT GRACE to Riley.

ONLY GOD COULD SOFTEN HER HEART.  And the finale > Riley completed, did not win, but the relationship between Riley and Aleah was restored! What the devil thought for devil, GOD turned into a BLESSING.

Riley forgave Aleah for all the hurt over the years. Aleah’s heart turned from thoughts of evil to thoughts of good toward Riley. Fast forward to the NATIONAL COMPETITION > Aleah won the title.

FORGIVE ONE ANOTHER

HATRED and ANGER are bitter pills to swallow daily. When we focus our thoughts and energies on these, they have a way of turning on us. They destroy our LOVE, JOY, PEACE, PATIENCE, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS, GENTLENESS and SELF-CONTROL > the gifts of the Spirit. It is like a boomerang > you throw them away from you > words out of your mouth > they finds their way back to you.

As the COACH continued to remind Riley who she was in CHRIST, we need to be reminded WHO WE ARE IN CHRIST.

HEALED BY GRACE is a heart warming story of FORGIVENESS and RESTORATION.

The WORD says …

[Jhn 3:16 NIV] 16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

[Mat 18:21-22 NIV] 21 Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?” 22 Jesus answered,

  • Always forgetting
  • Ready to make a new start
  • Loving each others with all our hearts
  • We should forgive one another

[Mat 6:14-15 NIV] 14 For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

IN CONCLUSION, I PRAY WE TAKE THIS STATEMENT TO HEART. FORGIVENESS IS NOT ALWAYS EASY, BUT IT IS WORTH IT!

PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER because JESUS prayed for us!

In the POWER and AUTHORITY in Jesus name. Hallelujah and Amen!

FORGIVE ONE ANOTHER YouWillWantTo are the hands and feet of Christ to reach one.
