How do I experience healing? That is a very good question. I immediately started to experience healing when I began investing my time into seeking first God’s kingdom.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. – Mat 6:33 KJV

Jesus is talking about necessary things that most people focus on instead of seeking first God’s kingdom (Matthew 6:30-32). He says these things shall be added unto you. Not by seeking them but by seeking the kingdom of God.

From God or the Thief?

Sickness, disease, and death come to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Jesus came that we may have life and that life even more abundantly (3 John 1:2). John wrote to Gauis, “Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers.”

John was writing under the inspiration of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17). And God is no respecter of persons (Acts 10:34, Romans 2:11).

Offerings

In Genesis 4, we see that Cain and Abel both brought offerings. But God respected Abel and his offering (Genesis 4:4). He did not respect Cain and his offering (Genesis 4:5). Then God asked Cain questions to help Cain examine himself (Genesis 4:6).

God Instructs His Children!

Again, 2 Timothy 3:16-17 makes it perfectly clear that God instructs His children through His words, written and spoken (Luke 9:35, Psalm 95:7, John 10:27). As we see with Cain, God warned him by explaining that he should rule over sin.

If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee [shall be] his desire, and thou shalt rule over him. – Gen 4:7 KJV

Faith Pleases God

Why is it impossible to please God without faith?

But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. – Heb 11:6 KJV

Faith is believing God over all of our circumstances in this world (2 Corinthians 5:7).

In Mark 11:22-24, Jesus explains that we must have faith in God. Then He teaches that we have the power to have whatever we say as long as we believe. Faith comes by hearing God’s Word (Romans 10:17).

Believe Unto Salvation

Romans 10:9-10 teaches us to be saved by believing and speaking.

We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak; – 2Co 4:13 KJV

Believe and Speak to Experience Healing

For they [are] life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. – Pro 4:22 KJV

But when Jesus knew [it], he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all; – Mat 12:15 KJV
Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw. – Mat 12:22 KJV

So when this was done, others also, which had diseases in the island, came, and were healed: – Act 28:9 KJV

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. – 1Pe 2:24 KJV

Only Believe

“…Be not afraid, only believe.” -Jesus (Mark 5:36)

“…fear not, believe only…” -Jesus (Luke 8:50)

I Should Heal Them

Jesus provided healing (Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24).

For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with [their] eyes, and hear with [their] ears, and understand with [their] heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. – Act 28:27 KJV

Who closed their eyes? “…and their eyes have they closed…” God is not mad at anyone! He will always answer when we ask. God promises to be found when we seek. And the door will be opened when we knock (Matthew 7:7-8, Luke 11:9-10). The question is are we asking, seeking, and knocking?

The Enemy

Who wants to keep every human being blinded and deceived? The god of this world! If he can keep Christians thinking that God is sending him to teach us a lesson, we will have a hard time resisting the devil (James 4:7).

In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. – 2Co 4:4 KJV
