EVEN IN MY OLD AGE (PSALM 71)

Dear Lord, thank You for loving us. You are our Daddy, Abba, Father. We love you so much, Father; and we thank You that we can come boldly before Your throne of GRACE. EVEN IN MY OLD AGE (PSALM 71). I have trusted You. My only hope. I have leaned upon You before the day of my birth. My only Hope.

[Psa 71:5 KJV] 5 For thou [art] my hope, O Lord GOD: [thou art] my trust from my youth.

EVEN IN MY OLD AGE (PSALM 71)

OLD: having lived for a long time

It was You who took me from my mother’s womb
Even in my old age
Even when my hair is gray O God
Do not forsake me
Even in my old age
Even when my strength is gone

[Psa 71:6 KJV] 6 By thee have I been holden up from the womb: thou art he that took me out of my mother’s bowels: my praise [shall be] continually of thee.

As we reflect over our lives as Christians, we can remember the times we KNEW GOD was our strength in times of trouble. He was always there! And it was when we realized that HE WAS, a peace that transcended our understanding calmed our troubled soul.

From the heart of the earth You have redeemed my soul
Who is like You God?
You take me down to the depths, but You revive me again
Who is like You God?
Until I have proclaimed Your strength
Until I have proclaimed Your power
To another generation
To a people yet to come

UNTIL is a moment in time when we proclaim Jesus as our Lord and Savior. In that moment, we have the assurance that we received the greatest gift of all > our sins were forgiven, and we will spend all ETERNITY forever with JESUS!

[Psa 71:18 KJV] 18 Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto [this] generation, [and] thy power to every one [that] is to come.

[Psa 71:20 KJV] 20 [Thou], which hast shewed me great and sore troubles, shalt quicken me again, and shalt bring me up again from the depths of the earth.

HALLELUJAH and AMEN!

Even when my strength is gone
I have trusted in You since I was young

Dear Lord, thank YOU for Your endless love for us all the days of our lives. Regardless of our age, whether young or old, we will TRUST IN YOU and YOUR WORD all the days of our lives. Psalms 71 is a reminder of OLDER IN YEARS, STRONG IN FAITH. In You, O LORD, I put my trust. Through continued prayer, this Psalm is a declaration of trust and hope in God. As we live this day, we give YOU THANKS for all You have done for us. We will walk by FAITH and TRUST in You that You will lead us down the path of our victory lane to accomplish Your plan for our lives.
