CHRIST IS RISEN, HE IS RISEN INDEED
CHRIST IS RISEN, HE IS RISEN INDEED
Dear Lord, thank you for loving us. You are our Daddy, Abba, Father. We love you so much, Father, and we thank you that we can come boldly before Your throne of GRACE. CHRIST IS RISEN HE IS RISEN INDEED. How can it be, the One who died Has borne our sin through sacrifice. To conquer every sting of death Sing, sing Hallelujah.
[Luk 24:6-7 KJV] 6 He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, 7 Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.
RISEN: restored from death; ascended into glory the risen Christ.
- For joy awakes as dawning light
- When Christ’s disciples lift their eyes
- Alive He stands, their friend and king
- Christ, Christ, He is risen. How can it be, the One who died
- Has borne our sin through sacrifice
- To conquer every sting of death
- Sing, sing hallelujah
The phrase “He Is Risen” means that Jesus Christ has literally risen from the dead and is alive today. In the Bible, an angel at Jesus’ empty tomb says to the women who had come to annoint his body, “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen!
[Jhn 20:11-16 KJV] 11 But Mary stood without at the sepulchre weeping: and as she wept, she stooped down, [and looked] into the sepulchre, 12 And seeth two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain. 13 And they say unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She saith unto them, Because they have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid him. 14 And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus. 15 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away. 16 Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master.
RISEN INDEED
- Where doubt and darkness once had been
- They saw Him and their hearts believed
- But blessed are those who have not seen
- Yet, sing hallelujah
- Once bound by fear now bold in faith
- They preached the truth and power of grace
- And pouring out their lives they gained
- Life, life everlasting
[Jhn 20:29 KJV] 29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed [are] they that have not seen, and [yet] have believed.
[2Co 5:7 KJV] 7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
To BELIEVE without SEEING is walking by FAITH in the WORD of GOD. The devil is good at making us believe what we SEE by our human eyes, but JESUS wants us to see with our SPIRITUTUAL eyes. Jesus says we are BLESSED when we believe HIS WORD and not the world. Hallelujah and Amen!
As we grow closer to the day of celebration called EASTER, I pray that the WORLD bows their knees at the FOOT OF THE CROSS for the sacrifice that Jesus made on the cross. But the CROSS did not keep him in the grave >>>>>> HIS IS ALIVE! Hallelujah and AMEN to the glory of GOD!
- He is risen, He’s alive, He’s alive!
- Heaven’s gates are opened wide
- Now in heaven glorified
- Heaven’s gates are opened wide
- He’s alive, He’s alive!
- Now in heaven glorified
