Jesus tells us in John 17:3 that life eternal is knowing God. There is so much confusion about God’s character in the world but more importantly in the church! How well you know God will affect how you interpret the Bible. Let’s take the veil off by getting to know Him through His word (Hebrews 6:19, 10:20).
I love how Malachi 3:16 defines the fear of the Lord:
Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.

The following verses are really just shocking! Matthew 4:5,8 each makes the statement that the devil takes Jesus up! But the Holy Spirit didn’t “take” Jesus; He led Him. How did the devil take Jesus anywhere? In His mind? Maybe. But, the Holy Spirit physically led Jesus into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.
