BROKEN LADDERS

Dear Lord, thank You for loving us. You are our Daddy, Abba, Father. We love you so much, Father, and we thank You that we can come boldly before Your throne of GRACE. BROKEN LADDERS. You never asked me to be king. Build my tower up to the sky. So why do I try?

[Psa 34:18 KJV] 18 The LORD [is] nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

BROKEN LADDERS

You never asked me to be rich
Buy the things that gold can buy
So why do I try?

All You ever wanted was my heart
My heart, my simple heart
To You that’s all that really matters

[Luk 10:27 KJV] 27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.

Why do I feel I have to reach
Believe I have to rise
When You never said I had to climb
These broken ladders

You never asked me to be complete
By myself, find all I need
So why do I try?

Oh, You never asked me to stand alone
Face the struggles on my own
So why do I try?

WHY DO I TRY? Interesting question. When we study to show ourselves approved, we STOP trying and just BELIEVE the WORD! God wrote our INSTRUCTION MANUAL and He gave it us to learn from. It tells us HE WILL NEVER LEAVE US NOR FORSAKE US. It is the devil that tries to plant the seed of, “WHY DO I TRY?” because he wants us to fail. Jesus gave His life so we WILL SUCCEED.

Dear Lord, this is the day that You have made; and we shall rejoice and be glad in it! When times get tough, and we feel like failures, we need to remember that Your WORD says You will never leave us nor forsake us. Your purpose for us is to be in the WORD daily to gain strength in scripture throughout the day. There will be trials and tribulations, but we are to be of good cheer because You have overcome. And because You overcame, we also can overcome. When thoughts of doubt and fear arise, we KNOW THEY ARE NOT FROM GOD, so STAND UP AND SHOUT, “GET BEHIND ME SATAN!”

[Psa 118:24 KJV] 24 This [is] the day [which] the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

[Jhn 16:33 KJV] 33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
