Dear Lord, thank you for loving us. You are our Daddy, Abba, Father. We love you so much, Father, and we thank you that we can come boldly before your throne of GRACE. MARY DID YOU KNOW that your baby boy would one day walk on water? Mary, did you know that your baby boy would save our sons and daughters? Did you know that your baby boy Has come to make you new? When you kiss your little boy, you Kiss the face of God. This child, MARY DID YOU KNOW that you delivered, will soon deliver you.

[Luk 1:30-38 KJV] 30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. 31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. 32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: 33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. 34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? 35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. 36 And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren. 37 For with God nothing shall be impossible. 

MARY DID YOU KNOW

KNOW: be aware of through observation, inquiry, or information.

God chose a teenager to be the MOTHER of His son. WOW! Then Mary responded…

[Luk 1:38 KJV] 38 And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.

ACCORDING TO THY WORD is how we should live our lives!  Think about this … Mary had a choice to obey or reject this amazing offer from GOD. What she heard was far from her understanding of the results, but she did not hesitate to respond … ACCORDING TO THY WORD.

• Will give sight to a blind man?
• Mary, did you know that your baby boy
• Will calm the storm with his hand?

• Did you know that your baby boy
• Has walked where angels trod?
• When you kiss your little baby
• You kiss the face of God

ACCORDING TO THY WORD

As a mother, I can only image the feelings Mary felt as each of these, “DID YOU KNOW’s” became reality! Her little baby boy GREW UP to perform the WILL OF GOD as the angel told her he would. Praise the Lord!  The celebration of Christmas started at this moment in time. 

FOR WITH GOD NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE

[Luk 1:37 KJV] 37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.

When it is GOD’s WILL, it is possible. When it seems impossible in the flesh, it is possible by the SPIRIT of GOD.

Dear Lord, as we continue this journey though the Christmas month to the DAY of Jesus birth, let’s remember the true reason for the season. God gave His SON as a GIFT that continues to give SALVATION until the day of His return. As we walk through this month, guide our steps to those in desperately need of a SAVIOR, and not gifts wrapped with beautiful paper that can wear out over time. JESUS is gift that blesses all the days of our lives >>>> into eternity.   

PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER because JESUS prayed for us!
