Dear Lord, thank you for loving us. You are our Daddy, Father, Abba. We love you so much, Father, and we thank you that we can come boldly before your throne of GRACE.  DO THEY SEE JESUS IN ME? Is the face that I see in the mirror the one I want others to see? Do I show in the way that I walk in my life the love that You’ve shown me? My heart’s desire is to be like You in all that I do, all I am. DO THEY SEE JESUS IN ME?

[Eph 5:1 KJV] 1 Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;

[Mat 5:16 KJV] 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

DO THEY SEE JESUS IN ME?

SEE: to form a mental picture; visualize 

• Do they recognize Your face
• Do I communicate Your love and Your grace
• Do I reflect who You are
• In the way I choose to be
• Do they see Jesus in me

POWERFUL questions that truly make us LOOK at ourselves in the mirror of the WORD.  Do WE SEE Jesus in us?  

• It’s amazing that You’d ever use me
• But use me the way You will
• Help me to hold out a heart of compassionate grace
• A heart that You’re spirit fills
• May I show forgiveness and mercy
• The same way you’ve shown it to me

STUDY TO SHOW THYSELF APPROVED

As we study the WORD to show ourselves approved …

[2Ti 2:15 KJV] 15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

OUR RELECTION WILL BECOME MORE AND MORE LIKE JESUS > EFFORTLESSLY. 

• Now I want to show all the world who You are
• The reason I live and breathe
• So You’ll be the One that they see
• When they see me

When we give JESUS our heart, we receive His Heart. And that unit will be a LIGHT IN THE DARKNESS to the lost and hurting world. And when we PRAISE and WORHSHIP HIM through our heart of LOVE, we will reflect HIM to others. We no longer live in the Old Testament.  The OLD taught us where we were, but the NEW Testament teaches us where we are. We are the REFLECTION OF JESUS. 

Daniel Amstutz, Worship Leader at Charis Bible College and author of LIFESTYLE OF WORHSHIP course, reminded me of how our heavenly FATHER wants our heart of PRAISE AND WORSHIP daily. HE wants a relationship with us day-by-day. He wants to speak to us through His WORD how to be HIS REFLECTION through our lives on a daily basis. 

The more we LOVE our JESUS

• They WILL see Jesus in us
• They WILL recognize His face
• We WILL communicate His love and grace
• We WILL reflect who He is
• In the way WE choose to be
• They WILL see Jesus in US

Thank you, Lord for giving us your WORD, a NEW Testament of YOUR DIVINE LOVE and POWER in our lives. As we reflect on the words of this song today, let them shine a light on our refection of You. And let that reflection radiate Your LOVE for the world. Let that reflection make them proclaim … “I WANT WHAT YOU HAVE” which will lead us to share the GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST!

PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER because JESUS prayed for us!
