GIFTS FROM GOD. What is a gift? Websters Dictionary defines it as something voluntarily transferred by one person to another without compensation. GIFTS are given to one another on earth as a token of affection. GOD is the giver of PERFECT GIFTS. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change. James 1:17
I consider youwillwantto.com as a GIFT from GOD to me by Star Bice to share His LOVE with the world. Jesus is the greatest GIFT we can accept > it lasts forever into eternity. Hallelujah! And EACH ONE CAN REACH ONE when we follow after Christ we all can lead one.

I thank GOD for the obedience of HIS children hearing His still small voice. Not only do they hear it, but they obey. And the result is music that SHOWCHASES God’s LOVE for us.
Once again, the Holy Spirit led me to this song and movie to showcase HIS MANY GIFTS TO US.

AS WE GROW IN CHRIST
As we grow in CHIRST, we will see our growth as we look back. What we thought was truth was revealed as LIES FROM THE DEVIL. Praise God we have the WORD to reveal the TRUTH. But until we READ THE WORD, we will never grow in our FAITH.

To be thankful for one more day on earth is to share the WORD of salvation with the lost. It may be through a simple THANK YOU, a card, or a gift that truly expresses how much we know about them. And in many cases, it may be us hearing GOD’s still small voice with their name and a gift to be given in HIS NAME to them.

What can I say but, THANK YOU, HOLY SPIRIT for guiding my steps toward this worship song and movie to showcase HOW MUCH YOU LOVE US.
The ULTIMATE GIFT is a book written by Jim Stovall that was MADE INTO A MOVIE! An inspirational story of what truly matters in life. What would you do to inherit a million dollars? Would you be willing to change your life? I purchased the book and the movie!!!
Prior to writing this post, I watched this movie multiple times. Because it is based on the WISDOM OF A GRANDPARENT, it touched my heart. I have three precious grandsons (3, 7 and 11). The message of this movie made its way into my grandsons’ yearly scrapbooks! This movie showcases GOD’s GIFTS of Work, Friends, Money, Gratitude, Day and Dreams! Here is the page from their 2021 scrapbooks! Notice each GIFT has related scriptures. The movie comes with a BIBLE STUDY GUIDE that showcases the lessons learned from THE ULTIMATE GIFT.
These GIFTS take the FOCUS off US and places on OTHERS. Just as JESUS kept his FOCUS on US all the way to the CROSS, we need to keep our focus on following in HIS FOOTSTEPS to share the MESSAGE OF THE CROSS.

GRANDPARENTS are GIFTS FROM GOD on earth. Point to remember > GOD HAS NO GRANDCHILDREN. WE ARE ALL HIS CHILDREN!!!
They live through the good times and the bad times of life. And they want to share their wisdom with their grandchildren. As they reflect over their lives, and the choices they made, their goal is to help their grandchildren to NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKES.
In this movie, RED STEVENS, BILLIONAIRE GRANDFATHER, is a very wealthy man! But he worked to earn it! It was not GIVEN to him by a wealthy relative. As he drew near to the end of his life, and he saw how his MONEY was the worse gift he could have given his children, he decides to help Jason, his young grandson, not to follow in their footsteps.
Prior to his death, he recorded a video for Jason. He knew his children were anxious to hear about their INHERITIANCES; how much $$$ they would receive. His heart was broken that his children were self-centered and focused only on $$$. And their ungratefulness was evident as they stormed out of the READING OF THE WILL.
He decided he would MAKE AN ATTEMPT to change the life of Jason. In order for him to receive his INHERITANCE, he had to complete several tasks to prove his LIFE TRANSFORMATION to inherit his wealth. To begin, his access to all his money was taken away.
GIFT OF WORK
What is WORK? It is an activity involving mental or physical effort done in order to achieve a purpose or result.
Our society seems to shy away from WORK; instead of focusing on the results, they just want to receive without giving! God gave us abilities to WORK. When we activate our GOD GIVEN gift of WORK, we create a gift for others. Regardless of what WORK we do, it is ultimately a blessing to another!
Jason was a rich kid > grew up with MORE THAN ENOUGH of everything! All the riches of wealth. Sad to say, WORK was not a priority in his life. But his GRANDFATHER decided he needed to learn some LESSONS about LIFE, so he sends him to complete several TASKS in order to receive his inheritance. Each task would change his life.
He sent him to work on a farm digging FENCE POSTS > manual labor, something he had never done before.
HE LEARNED NOT ONLY THE VALUE OF A HARD DAY’S WORK, BUT THE PRIDE THAT COMES FROM IT.
GIFT OF FRIENDS
Who is a FRIEND? A person whom one knows and with whom one has a bond of mutual affection.
WHAT A FRIEND WE HAVE IN JESUS
JESUS is our FRIEND. The best friend we could every have. He keeps our confidences; gives us GODLY advice and keeps us on the right path for God’s plan for our lives.
WHAT A FRIEND WE HAVE IN JESUS
We need to discern who we call FRIENDS! Are they more interested in themselves than others? Are they takers and not givers? Do they keep your confidences or share them with others?
When Jason was asked if he had ONE TRUE FRIEND, his answer was NO. All his friends were friends because of his wealth. AND THEN… he came across one little girl named Emily in the park. She became his ONE TRUE FRIEND to complete the TASK. Little did he know when she said, “HE IS MY BEST FRIEND FOR LIFE” that her life would be cut short from a disease that would take her life away soon.
GIFT OF MONEY
What is MONEY? The assets, property, and resources owned by someone.
Jason never worked a day in his life, so MONEY was never a thought. He had access to it in abundance. His credit cards had NO LIMIT. That is until it was REJECTED at a restaurant. And then, his apartment was emptied of all its processions’ and his car was taken away. He ended up on a park bench where he met Emily and her mom.
After he completed his WORK task, he earned a whopping $1500 for his manual labor of building fence posts. After he learned of the Emily’s medical condition, and the money status of her mom, he GAVE HIS $1500 to pay her back rent. He saw MONEY in a different light!
HE LEARNED THAT IN GIVING YOU RECEIVE.
GIFT OF GRATITUDE
WHAT IS GRATITUDE? The quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness.
His next assignment was to list ten things he was most grateful for. The things most people take for granted: health, family, friends, home, education to name a few.
HE LEARNED THAT PEOPLE WHO HAVE THE MOST TO BE THANKFUL FOR ARE OFTEN THE LEAST THANKFUL, AND THOSE WITH THE LEAST ARE MOST THANKFUL.
GIFT OF A DAY
WHAT IS A DAY? A period of twenty-four hours as a unit of time.
He was asked to plan things he would do if he had one day left to live. As he progressed through the TASKS, his heart was changed. His thoughts were now on how to help others instead of self-gratification.
HE LEARNED HOW PRECIOUS LIFE IS AND THAT EACH DAY SHOULD BE LIVED WITH GRATITUDE.
GIFT OF DREAMS
WHAT IS A DREAM? A series of thoughts, images, and sensations occurring in a person’s mind during sleep.
He was instructed to make a list of his goals and dreams and then prioritize them. The last TASK arrived, and he was a changed man. His dreams were no longer focused on self, but by giving away the money, he would become WEALTHY in the values his Grandfather lived by.
HE LEARNED THAT DREAMS ARE THE ESSENCE OF LIFE; NOT AS IT IS, BUT AS IT CAN BE. JASON FINDS THAT THE WORLD’S GREAT MEN AND WOMEN ALL STARTED OFF WITH THE SAME TYPE OF DREAM; SEEING AND BELIEVING THAT BETTER THINKS LIE AHEAD.
TO MAKE THE DREAMS OF OTHERS COME TRUE.

My life was changed by watching this movie and reading the book. It prompted me to include the lessons in my grandson’s yearly scrapbooks. These books are more than just memories of events, but life changing lessons for them to reflect back on all the days of their life. The WORD is evidenced though-out their “memory books” with my goal for them to pass them down through the generations.
GOD GAVE US HIS WORD >> THE BIBLE was given to reflect on all the days of our lives!!!
