Dear Lord, Thank you for loving us. You are our Daddy, Father, Aba. We love you so much, Father, and we thank you that we can come boldly before your throne of GRACE. WHAT A FRIEND WE HAVE IN JESUS; a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer.

[Jhn 16:33 KJV] 33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

[Psa 4:1 KJV] 1 [[To the chief Musician on Neginoth, A Psalm of David.]] Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me [when I was] in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.

WHAT A FRIEND WE HAVE IN JESUS 

• Oh, what peace we often forget, what needless pain we bear. 
• All because we do not carry everything to God in prayer.

Jesus is our FRIEND, our BEST FRIEND. A person whom one knows and with whom one has a bond of mutual affection. He never leaves us nor forsakes us. In fact, he is available 24x7x365!  We never receive a BUSY SIGNAL nor VOICEMAIL!!!

TEMPTATIONS

Therefore, when trails and temptations come our way; when there is trouble everywhere > we should never be discouraged when we TAKE it to LORD in PRAYER. Who can find a friend so FAITHFUL? And, who will all our sorrows share? Jesus knows our weakness. WE NEED TO TAKE IT TO THE LORD IN PRAYER.

Temptation: the desire to do something, especially something wrong or unwise > is the devil speaking to us in his LOUD and OVERPOWERING voice. He makes every attempt to overpower that STILL small VOICE of our JESUS. 

TO CLARIFY, that still small voice is BOULDER, LOUDER and MORE POWERFUL than the devil. When we close our ears to that LOUD, OVERPOWERING voice, we open our HEART to that still small voice who calms our storms! His ANCHOR and ARMOR of LOVE will cover us with PEACE that transcends all understanding. 

[Phl 4:6 KJV] 6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

JESUS IS OUR FRIEND IN TIME OF NEED.  Our Lord who hears our prayers and offers his PEACE we so desire. As Jesus words had POWER TO CALM THE STORM, our words have power to CALM THE STORMS in our lives. Our words can build or destroy, bring peace or sorrow, rejoicing or anger. Let’s FOLLOW Jesus’ example today and speak PEACE to ourselves and everyone around us. Let our lives represent a FRIEND to guide them to the PEACE SPEAKER!

PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER because JESUS prayed for us!
