Dear Lord, thank You for loving us. You are our Daddy, Abba, Father. We love you so much, Father, and we thank you that we can come boldly before Your throne of GRACE. IT’S MY DESIRE TO LIVE FOR HIM. A desire that comes straight from our heart to GOD.

A song that touched my heart years ago, and again today. GOD IS GOOD and He brings back to our remembrance things that will bless our heart again and again! I am showcasing two videos of the song: one with lyrics only and another with Joseph Lawson singing the song at his church.

IT’S MY DESIRE TO LIVE FOR HIM

[Phl 1:21-24 KJV] 21 For to me to live [is] Christ, and to die [is] gain. 22 But if I live in the flesh, this [is] the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not. 23 For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better: 24 Nevertheless to abide in the flesh [is] more needful for you.

Though often failed Him … words we all say at one time or another.

John 13-16 shares the conversation between Jesus and his disciples in the hours before his death, and in these chapters we see that Jesus is not shaken by their lack of faith. He doesn’t ignore it either; he actually points it out several times, as he did throughout in his ministry.

If you could see, where Jesus brought me from to where I am today
And you would know the reason why I love Him so
(Well) You can take, take this world
It’s wealth and riches
I don’t need earth’s fame
It’s my desire, to live for Him

Well it’s my desire, to help some one today

Joseph is a Christian, but he shared his heart with this song. He knew he caused Jesus shame at times in his life; as we all do. But he also knew Jesus is a forgiving Lord and Savior. As long as we live in this flesh, we will fall short of perfection. Therefore, knowing this, we also know where our HELP COMES FROM to continue our journey until we see Jesus Face to Face. Hallelujah and Amen!

Dear Lord, THANK YOU not being shaken by our lack of faith. When we remember YOUR SAVING GRACE over us, we also remember Your FORGIVENESS of our shortcomings. When we first notice our lack of faith, we should also notice it is not from YOU! You told us if we have faith as small as a mustard seed, we could move mountains!!!

The longer we serve You, the more confidence we have in our abilities to quickly turn to you in times of trouble. You promised to never leave us nor forsake us and that is a PROMISE we can believe in.
