Fur Babies in Heaven
How do we know that our fur babies will be in heaven?
In the Beginning, God Created Fur Babies
God created paradise in the beginning with mankind and animals in the first two chapters of Genesis.
And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl [that] may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that [it was] good. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. … And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that [it was] good. – Genesis 1:20-22, 24-25 KJV
God created animals including our fur babies and blessed them. He told them to be fruitful and multiply and fill the waters and the Earth.
How about the desire to be close to great animals in aviaries, aquariums, and zoos?
God Created Fur Babies for His Good Pleasure
[Rev 4:11 KJV] 11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
And “They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. – Isaiah 11:9 KJV” is talking about animals having the full knowledge of the LORD.
The Earth Shall Be Full of the Knowledge of the LORD
[Isa 11:6-10 KJV] 6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. 7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. 8 And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice’ den. 9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. 10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.
[Isa 65:25 KJV] The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust [shall be] the serpent’s meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.
The only difference between heaven and earth is that there will be no more devil to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10)! The evil that causes people and animals to hurt will be thrown into the lake of fire for eternity (Revelation 20:14). Then all will know God (1 John 5:20, 1 Corinthians 15:34).
Wipe Away Tears
God will wipe our tears away when we see face to face and know as we are known (1 Corinthians 13:12).
[Isa 25:8 KJV] 8 He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken [it].
[Rev 7:17 KJV] 17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
[Rev 21:4 KJV] 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Not Without Your Father
Jesus will never leave you or forsake you (Deuteronomy 4:31, 31:6-8, Joshua 1:5, Hebrews 13:5).
Jesus explains that our Father is with every sparrow!
[Mat 10:29 KJV] 29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.
New Heavens and a New Earth
[Isa 65:17 KJV] 17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
[Isa 66:22 KJV] 22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.
[2Pe 3:13 KJV] 13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
[Rev 21:1 KJV] 1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
This heaven and earth is full of life. The new heavens and the new earth will be too. In 1 Corinthians 15:38-42, Paul answers the question about the resurrection posed in 1 Corinthians 15:35. He specifically talks about animals in 1 Corinthians 15:39! Hallelujah!
I am certain that our fur babies will be with us in heaven!
