All Shall Know Me
In Hebrews 8:11, we are told that “all shall know Me.”
And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. – Heb 8:11 KJV
Jesus is praying to God in John 17:3 and says that life eternal is knowing the only true God.
And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. – Jhn 17:3 KJV
What Shall We Teach?
The author starts Hebrews 8:11 saying that we shall not teach them saying, “Know the Lord!” So, what shall we teach that “all shall know Me?”
Jesus tells us to teach all nations to observe all things “whatsoever I have commanded you.”
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: – Mat 28:19 KJV
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen. – Mat 28:20 KJV
Observing or Obeying?
The “Outline of Biblical Usage” of the word “observe” in Matthew 28:20 is as follows:
Blue Letter Bible
- to attend to carefully, take care of
- to guard
- metaph. to keep, one in the state in which he is
- to observe
- to reserve: to undergo something
Should We Obey?
Absolutely!
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: – Jhn 10:27 KJV
One of the problems that I am hearing in the church is that we want to nail down some doctrine to obey (or teach others to obey) instead of observing what the word actually says (Deuteronomy 12:32, Revelation 22:18-19).
All Shall Know Me
I want to teach people to know God. But, I cannot! I have been seeking God for many years and spent countless intimate hours with Him in His kingdom (John 10:9).
Trying to teach people to know Him the way I know Him is disobedience. But teaching everyone to observe everything His Word says is absolute obedience. When you invest your most valuable asset, your time, into an intimate relationship, you will know Him! Then will you be able to experience Psalm 23:5.
All Shall Know Me!
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. – Psa 23:3 KJV
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou [art] with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. – Psa 23:4 KJV
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. – Psa 23:5 KJV
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever. – Psa 23:6 KJV
Seek and You Shall Find
The joy of having a relationship with the One who created everything that has ever been created is in the relationship. It is in the “knowing Him.”
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: – Mat 7:7 KJV
For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. – Mat 7:8 KJV
You Shall Know Him
Keep asking, seeking, and knocking. Or if you are like I was for so long, deceived and believing lies, repent. God has literally given me more than I have asked for or even thought of asking for. If it hasn’t manifested in the flesh or physical realm, I know what the hold-up is and I’m enjoying the journey…with trials, tribulations, and persecutions (Mark 10:30).
I seek God every day, and I have found life eternal here and now. Are you ready for Revelation 20:11? I am but only because of 1 John 4:17. Abundant life is truly living with Paul’s “Philippians 1:21” mentality.
To Die is Gain
Whose Problem Is It?
One of the greatest lessons God has taught me is that if someone has a problem with me, it really isn’t my problem! It is theirs. Hallelujah! Many people will have problems with you when you are living life more abundantly and freely receiving from Christ Jesus. You take away their excuse for not doing the same.
The Kingdom Is Here!
And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. – Mat 10:7 KJV
Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. – Mat 10:8 KJV
Jesus tells even the Pharisees that His kingdom is inside of them or in the midst of them (Luke 17:20-21, Colossians 1:13)!
Peculiar People
God has made us sufficient.
That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; – Col 1:10 KJV
Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; – Col 1:11 KJV
Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: – Col 1:12 KJV
All Shall Know Me and Be Transformed
Being patient with joyfulness through longsuffering seems weird to the world and unfortunately to many in the church! As long as my life in this world continues to be transformed by the renewing of my mind to what God says, whose problem is it?
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, [which is] your reasonable service. – Rom 12:1 KJV
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. – Rom 12:2 KJV
For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think [of himself] more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. – Rom 12:3 KJV

Hallelujah and Amen.
To know Him is to spend time with Him:
quiet time
asking questions
listening to His still small voice whisper one word that will guide us to be the answer to a prayer
instructions for His next lesson for us to share
and sometimes to hear the words, “I Love You.”
Time with the Lord is never wasted, it is time learning about this life on earth and how to became a vessel for Him to use to share the Message of the Cross.
And, to tell Him how much we LIVE Him!
Hallelujah and Amen!
Yes, Yes, Yes!!! Amen!
