Dear Lord, thank you for loving us. You are our Daddy, Abba, Father. We love you so much, Father, and we thank you that we can come boldly before your throne of GRACE.  IF I GAIN THE WORLD, but lost the Savior, would life be worth living a day? Could my yearning soul find rest and comfort in the things that soon must pass away?

[Mar 8:35 NIV] 35 For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it.

IF I GAIN THE WORLD

GAIN: obtain or secure (something desired, favorable, or profitable).

• If I gained he world, but lost the Savior
• Would my gain be worth the lifelong strife?
• Are all earthly pleasures worth comparing
• For a moment with a Christ-filled life?

A POWERFUL STATEMENT

This song opened my eyes to the powerful word of “IF.”  It gives a choice; IF I do this, the results will be GOOD or BAD.  God gave the ability to make decisions on our choices; He does not dictate our decisions. He gave us FREE WILL.  Our IF decisions changed when we accepted Jesus as our Savior. As Christians, we said NO to the earthly pleasures and YES to living a Christ-filled life!

• If I gained the world, but lost the Savior,
• Who for me endured the cross and died,
• Where in all the world could I find refuge
• Where my anguished soul could run to hide?

CHRIST-LIKE IS OUR CHOICE

• Oh, the joy of having all in Jesus!
• He who comes, the broken heart to heal,
• Ne’er a sin too great, but He’ll forgive it,
• Nor a sorrow that He cannot feel.
• If I have but Jesus, only Jesus,
• Nothing else in all the world beside,
• Oh, then everything is mine in Jesus,
• For my needs and more He will provide

PROVIDER

Jehovah-Jireh, the Lord, your provider, gives you what you need.

[Phl 4:19 NIV] 19 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

Jesus is our SAVIOR, and no one can take His place in our lives; not the riches nor the fame. He the the JOY of our lives and He wants to spend time with US. And, He gave His life for us > by name! He is no stranger to us, nor should we be a stranger to Him.  

Yesterday I shared the worship song “I HAVE A BIBLE” that tells the story of our JESUS. From the prophecies told of Him in the Old Testament (mentioned in all books of the Old Testament), to the birth of him as a babe in the manger, He fulfilled God’s plan for HIS LIFE and for ours! 

WITHOUT THE SAVIOR

• And if I should live without the Savior,
• When I come to die, how would it be?
• O, to face death’s shadowed way without Him,
• And without Him all eternity… eternity!

WITH THE SAVIOR

WE PRAISE YOU JESUS, OUR SAVIOR

We give you PRAISE and HONOR today for all you have done for us.  OUR “IF” is YOU, WE ARE BORN- AGAIN BELIEVERS in the SAVIOR. And it is JESUS’ heart that we share with those who are LOST.

Dear Lord, we are LOVED by YOU, and we are BLESSED by You. Halleluiah and Amen! Today as we venture through the next 24 hours, we ask YOU to guide us to someone who is in the “IF” decision of their life. Let YOUR light shine so brightly through us that it will prompt them to ask for the same light!  You are the answer to ALL our earthly and spiritual needs. This is the day that YOU have made, and we shall rejoice and be glad in it because we made the right “IF” decision to make you our Lord and Savior.  We know that when our earthly life is over, we will see YOU face-to-face as we walk the streets of gold to our mansion in haven. 

PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER because JESUS prayed for us!
